    I knew COD:WAW would top the list again. Gears 2 is moving up I see.

    No changes in the top 360 titles I see.
    If things are going to change it’ll be in the next week or two once everyone’s back to normal routines at work/school/life and so on.

    I think it really has to do with xmas sales.

    You’re simply not going to make as many xmas sales with Halo 3 when compared to CoD: W@W (that game has been a top seller for the holidays).
    The same applies to gears 2.

    Blaaah, Lag of War 2 climbing up a notch is not good for the quality of games in the industry. Lesser developers will see that you can get away with ANYTHING these days as long as you sort of promise to patch it later, months later.

    Epic made a record in game destroying glitches in a multiplayer game. Nobody can deny that except a rabid, delusional fanboy. That record should be chiseled into a gigantic block of polished granite for all generations to see. A block big enough to match the overblown egos and BS of Mark R and Cliff B.

    Guitar Hero World Tour is at 6th and Rock Band 1 or 2 aren’t in the top 10. Whats wrong with people?!

    Rock Band is a far, far superior game.

    I dont understand how rock band is nowhere in the top 10. i agree that it is far better than guitar hero which has been sucking since the third game one came out and lets not forget about aerosmith that was one of the worst games i played in 2008. I dont know how guitar hero is still making money, the only thing i can think of is that people dont know how much better rock band is, which is a shame.

    Nice to World at War on top, but that is only because of Christmas sales. By the end of the month, Halo 3 willbe back on top again. That’s my prediction. Oh and its nice to see Call of Duty 4 still hanging on at the #4 spot. Great games don’t die easily I guess.

    @JustinJDW: What do Christmas sales have to do with Halo 3 “being on top again” later? You’re assuming people who got it for X-mas are going automatically go back to Halo 3. There’s a chance that won’t happen. The CoD community was split, but I believe that X-mas sales brought more CoD4 players over to WaW. And considering how long CoD4 was on top before WaW came out…there’s a chance Halo 3 won’t be at number 1 again for a long time.

    If rankings are based on UU’s, how are the numbers anywhere close to valid for Halo 3? People with multiple accounts trying for rank 50 plague this game. UU’s don’t mean anything about how many people are playing.

    I hate World at War so much.. Such a terrible misuse of the CoD4 engine. Gears 2 should be heading to the #1 spot next report with the patch that’s going to be released soon.

    I hated WaW, it sucks compared to 4 and I would never buy it. I’ll wait for Modern Warfare 2 thank you very much. I guarantee that unlike CoD5, MW2 will rocket to the #1 spot launch weekend.

    Community Games top10 is always a rich source of incredible news.
    Johnny platform biscuit an hit? I went up on top like a maverick (unbelievable. The ‘masterpiece’ of Fireworks lost his first place (what a shame!!)and another 3hoursdevelopment game as Sin(surfing). The greatest game of Community games Carneyvale Showtime only 4th others good ones like Crystal Crush or Totem so deep i nthe popularity. Many questions are open: Who buy Community Games? Are community gamers insane or MS database is out of order?

    Nobody Knows…..

    Call of Duty 4 was and still is a spectacular game, a worthy runner-up to Halo 3 in 2007. But I don’t find World at War to be that great of a game. Anything that is good about it came from what was good about Call of Duty 4. It doesn’t stand on its own two feet.

    For my Call of Duty fix, I’ll head on over back to number 4. But I’ll be playing Halo 3 to the end of time anyway. Long live the King.
