Love Resident Evil. Played EVERY SINGLE ONE of them. So I’m ALL over this.

Played the first game and loved it. Never played any of the others since so this will be like the start of a whole new series for me.

Looking forward to the demo, and maybe the game (depens if I like the demo). But I’m pretty sure that I’ll like Left 4 Dead more. I’ve never been a fan of the Resident Evil series, but I’ve never been a fan of zombie games…untill Left 4 Dead arrived.
Maybe the RE5 demo will convince me to get the full game in march. Time will tell.

this game should be sweet… I used to prefer the resident evil series, over the Metal gear solid series, back in the day. they were both cool, but just liked res evil a little better.

It would be nice to know in advanced which regions are getting this for a change :/

already done the jp version (there are easy ways round the ban on playing that btw) thought it was pretty good, camera not too brilliant but the graphics are good and its fun co-op

I reminded myself on how good this game looked when I downloaded the JAPANESE DEMO IN FULL ENGLISH (VOICE ACTING AND MENUS). I’m not complaining that “0mGz U.S. didn’t get teh dem0 first wtfz!!1″. I am complaining about how long it took other countries (you know, the ones where most people actually SPEAK English as their primary language), when the demo is fully playable by anyone even with basic understanding of the language. Ridiculous.

played and completed all levels in single and co-op….the aiming and targeting was a nightmare by todays standards. Back in the Ps2 days it was good, but no today with how much games have advanced. U couldnt run and shoot, u have to hold L bumber down then aim and shoot. Like i said, back in the Ps2 and PSX days that was good but not by todays standards. Feels awkward, espicially after playing so many modern day shooters and what not today.

This game is all graphics and nothing else. No running and shooting. WTF. Typical Capcom – same game, better graphics. I expect SF4 to be nothing more than SF2 with “better graphics”. How the hell do they get away with releasing the same game over and over without improving the game mechanics?

Why the hell would you want to run and shoot in a survival horror game? They don’t give you that much ammo to begin with. That’s the last thing you want to do, waste it.

Hey DigitalSpirit, did you actually play RE4 ??? It was awesome, took the series in a whole new action-driven direction, so yeah – a new version of that with better gfx is welcome, but RE5 is the next version. It’s gonna own, please get informed before embarrasing yourself in public again

NICE! I’ll get to evaluate the controls before committing 60 bucks on it. I’ve heard mixed reviews from CES about the control layout so the demo will either sell me on the game or have me cancel my pre-order.

I have had the RE5 demo for a while now, there are still torrents around if you want to grab it now. Just burn and play. The only thing is that you have to log out of xbox live in order to play it.

Yeah. I downloaded this 6 weeks ago in the first week of December and burnt it to a CD. Worked perfectly until Microsoft decided to force non JAP region players to get kicked off Live if they put it in their 360s.

I will def. give this one a try!

I don’t have a Gold memebership On xbox live and many demos are Gold exclusive in the first week? Can’t wait for this game. bought my Xbox to play this game.

I’ve already played it – and its good, but it sticks to the “if it ain’t broke” concept quite closely! Guns sound a bit weak and the death animations are cloned (shame). That aside, the coop idea looks interesting – it’ll be the story that brings me in tho.
