GoW2 down to 4th, I hope this patch fixes things

wow BK & UNO are still there

looks like fable 2 got a nice boost thanks to the dlc i have yet to purchase it but i plan to before the the end of jan

i also hope the patch fixes all the problems in gears 2

Whilst 5th is a good position I still don’t think L4D gets the reconition it deserves. If people try it I think the majority of them would like it.

A lot of the people I speak to about it think it’s Dead Rising

Although I spent the 70 bucks on that pos, I kinda hope the patch doesnt fix things so people finally understand that they’ve been scammed. I’ve now turned to games that are actually amazing and that offer everything Gears2 doesnt, like dedicated servers, lag-free gaming, minimal to no glitches and FREE DLC, like Battlefield Bad Company.

I’m sorry that I didnt buy your game first-hand DICE. I’ll never make the mistake of substituting your game with one of Epic’s again.

Man, its a bummer gears 2 is dropping so fast, but Epic brought it upon themselves. Get that patch out and fix some bugs! Also, already putting a map pack out? Most people are on the fence about playing this already, and you are going to alienate them by having some people have the maps and some don’t?

i tried h3 again this weekend, bad move. gow2 patch still wont bring me back to that either, cod:waw and l4d are my top 2 until sk8 2.

Man, again! Halo is losing its edge. It was at the top almost all of last year. What happened? Maybe people are playing the games they got for the holidays, and forgetting about multiplayer. Who knows? I just hope that Halo 3 comes back to the top again.

That being said, I predict that Halo Wars will break the top 10 within a week of its release date. FURTHERMORE, the demo will break records.

Why do people play the inferior game that is COD:WAW? Halo is a much better game.

I’m surprised Gears 2 is even at 4th with all the issues! I am the biggest Gears 1 fan and have been playing for over 2 years, and can’t understand why they would mess up Gears so much it just isn’t as fun anymore, plus the matchmaking is just horrible!! The online campaign in Gears 2 is good and Horde is fun, but the only reason to keep playing any game for more than a few days is the multiplayer. Will give it one more chance after the patch but not really expecting much…

@ Anon 3 how can you compare halo 3 and call of duty. sure they are both FPS games but im sorry but thats where any and all similarities end. (its like trying to say an apple is better than an orange they are both fruit but other than that they are different.)

The game play is different.

Story is different.

The feel of the games are far from similar.

Its all about personal preference. I loved halo 3 i played it right after i stopped playing cod4 up until world at war came out. But at this time to me halo is old. i played halo for years, halo 2 for years and halo 3 for well over a year. some people just get to the point where enough is enough. and we are at that juncture with halo 3. you cant teach an old dog new tricks.

I just wish they(Epic) didn’t screw up the Gears of War2 Co-Op game browser. Why do I have to select the chapter and then search for a game, just let me search through all games so I can think about and choose which game I’d like to join.

gears of war 2 sucks , dont even play it. it sucks balls. if you wanna play single player get fallout 3 way better than fable 2 , and if you wanna play multiplayer go left4dead or cod4 , cod waw isnt as fun as the first one

Seriously, why are people playing WaW when CoD4 is clearly a better game? Xmas present perhaps?

And Gears doesn’t belong at no.4, at this precise moment in time it doesn’t belong in the top 10, horrible online experience! yet I keep going back :p

I agree with everyone saying that COD4 is better than WaW. I have converted back to playing 4 again. WaW was just too slow and boring for me.

I guess I can now move on and get the “Nerd Medal” as my wife calls it (10th prestige). I’m only one or two away.

GoW 2 hahaha, because only usa players have good pings in this game, all other over the world cant play this shit, bad multiplayer.

First of all, WELCOME TO GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE MAJOR. We are a fun little community and we are growing each and every day. You never know who is a GFWL featured gamer these days… you never know.

Also, having double scores on live games makes chest and coin purse hair grow at a 25% faster rate than just playing one version. FACT.

@ Warrengonline: Lemmings is owned by Sony. I was crushed too. Lemmings is one of my favorite all time games.

As for Gears, well, new achievements that are tied into a TEN DOLLAR USD map pack will not push the issue. Halo 3 and the Legendary Map Pack say hi! And most people did indeed GET PISSED OFF when the first thing Epic decided to publish post game was NOT FREE DLC instead of a PATCH.

Does anyone play Centipede/Millipede? I was playing and made high score on the leaderboard, but when I left the game that displayed my high score of 19640, I went to check the score on the main leaderboard. The top score was 16521 (or something in that area) and I returned to the screen where the High Scores were (in the demonstration screen) and my score was not there. What gives?

CoD is boring to me…Left 4 Dead is the best multiplayer game on market…its on fifth place but i am sure it will go up on the list after the DLC launch

Major, how come you don’t list the top ‘Games for Windows LIVE’ PC games?

Fall out 3 was alright it wasn’t really my cup of tea i liked fable II better. Left for dead is actually a pretty sick game but at the same time its incredibly short with no progression in its multiplayer. CoD world at war is what i spend most of my time on right now just because of the community really, its got good followship and my friends play it right now. I think in a few months though with nothing really showing strong halo 3 will be back on top, maybe till Cod modern warfare 2 comes out.

With the new patch up gears 2 is going up the list. I have played it since the new patch came out and it is much much better
