The Vado only goes up to 30 fps, but does true HD. The KODAK Zi6 Pocket Video Camera does 60 fps, but is not true HD. The ONLY thing I do not like about my Zi6 is that Adobe Premiere does not like the .MOV extension. [conversion, conversion]

I agree Major. All “Games for WIndows” games should say “(PC)” next to them when they appear on our gamercards.

I know Fallout 3, The Club, Universe at War, & Kayne and Lynch do not have this. Halo 2 and Gears of War do say (PC) or (Windows) next to them.

Shadowrun PC appears as the same game as the 360 version.

the last 3 minutes was dizzying! :S FEAR 2 should be good. (In other news, Phil sees his shadow…6 more weeks of hibernating with your 360!)

Haha, I saw Dave Matthews and got excited about hearing the band talk about video games. Oh well, I didn’t hear for Dave Matthews Band; but, I enjoyed Dave Matthews.

Why dose Fallout 3 count as two games anyway? (360/PC) I mean you can do that same stuff, get the same achivments, etc. … its like playing the same game twice, meaning twice the gamerscore. … aint that like cheating?
I mean, imagine playing Avatar: TLA twice. Got my point?

The achivements of both games should count as one game.

Great show as always. always miss the codes, but i have the DLC for Fallout anyway. Have fun in Orlando. I know nothing about American geography, but sounds good.

Yes, in a way for me too MEXICAN GRUNT. I mean it’s not really cheating because the way it’s set up anyone can do it. But ideally they should combine achievements so playing the same game on different platforms counts toward a single set of achievement points.

But as to letting others game on your live account, I’m with e on that one.

I was going to request some video from your Creative Vado, but since you’re going to be here (today) I assume you’ll get some crowd shots and such and post some video. I’d like to see some sample video clips. The .avi format of the vado is what interests me the most actually. The Zi6′s 60 fps got me, but the removable storage (4GB+ SDHC) sold me. The battery recharger and rechargeable AA batteries just sweetened the deal.

[smiles] and wonder who got 1000 Gamerscore in Mass Effect and Assassin’s Creed, let alone Rock Band and Rock Band 2. But then, are PC (Windows Games’) Achievements carried over to Xbox Live (Console) Achievements? Why are there Console Achievements and PC Achievements? Just curious.

Reading those codes midstream is disruptive to what flow exists in this ‘cast. I had same complaint when the GSBlog folks (may their batteries never die and their friends lists always be full) did it.

Maybe keep it to the aftershow.

I love the podcast, but I can barely hear e most of the time. The only time e’s voice is even close to the same volume as Major’s is when he laughs. Anyone else agree???

Any reason why you didn’t indicate that Fear 2 is also coming to Games for Windows?

Nice job on getting a Touch Pro. I personally prefer the sliders to the Palm style keyboards. Allows for quicker typing because of the larger sized keys. I’ve had this phone for about 4 months now and nothing else comes close imho (and I have tried the others).
