If you are looking for cheap retro games, pick up Sonic’s Mega Sega Genesis Collection this week…it has over 40 games, including 5 or 6 versions of Sonic, a few Shinobi’s, the Phantasy Star series, Streets of Rage series, and some great arcade classics like Zaxxon…and the price for all this goodness? $29.99!! Oh, and Rystar (or is it RiStar?) is on there…I never played it, but there is a ton of hype about that one title alone.

this is what xbla is all about for me. looking forward to this one.

It is RiStar. I have VectorMan on my Genesis, but now I’ll have him in my Xbox360. I did not know that there was a Vectorman 2. Comix Zone should be good for those who have never heard of it, let alone played it as it was released on Genesis and PC.

I hope they do a Sega CD Collection with Lunar the Silverstar Story, Sonic CD, Revenge of the Ninja and The Adventures of Willy Beamish (with a far better load time). “SEGA!” – the old way to saying it.

Any news on Peggle, wasn’t it supposed to be released in 2008, why is it taking so long?

It’s a great game, I played it on PS3, which came out on the 5th. If you likes sports or hockey, it’s a must buy IMO. The non-sports gamer would probably pass on this. Also, it’s a lot more fun to play online.

Looks like fun. Hey Major, any news on the community game channel coming to the rest of Europe (Netherlands in particular?). Just a “we’re working on it” will do!

Not seen any games for 400 in ages.
I’d never spend 800 points on something like this!

I been playing the demo on PSN, it is pretty fun, over the top gaming, with skill stick. Hilary Goldstein, trashed it in his review but we all know he is a Sony fanboy so I don’t know what business he has reviewing xbox games.

I haven’t played a hockey game since Wayne Gretzky’s 3D hockey on the N64. I will check out this trial.

Hockey…..awesome…..would it kill Micro$oft to release a decent arcade game at least once in a blue moon. Have heard good stuff about The Maw but seems short. Other than that I’ll be saving my M$ points for Fallout 3 content.

Why dosen’t midway put out NBA Jam on XBLA. That game was so fun to play.

I played this on my PS3 last week… the 800 points price tag is reasonable, but it should just be a bonus in NHL 09… it’s not a full game :/

@MoOnUnIt 360: Sorry mate, according to xbox360achievements.org, it’s been delayed yet again. No new release date as yet.

Tomb Raider: Underworld has become the latest casualty in the latest DLC delay debacle. Beneath the Ashes which was set for release tomorrow (February 10th) has now had to be pushed back due to “an unexpected technical issue.”

CVG is reporting that a spokesperson for Eidos stated that “an unexpected technical issue means that Beneath the Ashes will not be available to download on 10th February as planned.”

No date has been rescheduled yet but the spokesperson stated that they are working hard to get it out “as soon as possible.”

oh well cheers for the heads up anyway guess we’ll have to wait a bit longer hopefully not to long

…thats cool I guess! Totally off subject now but where is the DLC for Tomb Raider Underworld (Beneath The Ashes)…?? It was supposed to be released today..?!?!

Seriously! I like game comparisons more than game reviews when it comes to multiple platforms for games. What is good/bad on this system vs this system? But then, I like Too Human, review or no review.

I don’t know about you guys but this seems like a pretty fun game.
Kinda reminds me of a miscellaneous Mario game because of the special power ups/items.

It’s about time we get those types of games on other consoles aside from Nintendo because they’re actually quite fun.

The items will make the game much more enjoyable for those who aren’t hard core hockey fans such as myself.
