is this anything like nhl: rock the rink on ps1? cause that game was and still is awesome! :D

  • GeekdadCanada

Does it play the Hartford Whaler song? This game looks great for my 8 year old son and I to play. The full sized disk games are too complicated for him.

  • Sole Epiphany

Yes!!!!! I know what I am doing after work!!!!

  • Jambi Bum

It’s a pretty good game. Only really minor issue I have with it is that the online play is only 1v1.

  • Jambi Bum

Nevermind. I’ll edit that post. You can play 3v3, but only with guests. Seeing how I just got a 3v1 where the other two guys just relentlessly hit my two AI partners and my goalie. That’s how I got my first loss. Woo.

  • ElektroDragon

“EA may retire features” because EA wants you to buy the same game over and over again every year.

“EA MAY RETIRE ONLINE FEATURES AFTER 30 DAYS”

So 30 day trials of games run 800MSP now? Thanks EA!

Those graphics look like NHL05 with the “bigheads” cheat enabled.

  • Exu

    This game is rubbish.

  • rowe33

Why not just fix the b/c of NHL Hitz Pro so the saves work? It’s a MUCH better game…

  • Outinthedark

Don’t knock this game until you try it! Having a blast with my kid brother. I’m sure I’ll get my $10 out of this game.

1v1 multiplayer is kind of lame though.

  • Shonk

I try to avoid ea games due to their policy of retiring games

If i pay for a game that is online i expect to be able to play it

    seems fair doesnt it?

  • Gorkinlot

    Peggel and Space Invaders wanted

  • KP ScuzzyBunny

I don’t think EA should be allowed to retire the online features of their games. I understand the aspect of wanting to control supply/ demand and the round-about forcing consumers to buy the latest version of a game (MS does it too…that’s why no game on both the 360 and Xbox is BC), but to sell a game with the disclaimer that “Notice is posted” that you could have as little as 30 days is BS. If EA doesn’t want to support a game on their servers, it should be moved to either peer to peer or a MS server, and then they could just disable the roster updates and things that they “own”. I hate supporting EA, but this game looks like fun…luckily I have Sonic’s Sega Genesis Mega Collection, which was $29.99, and has 49 games on the disc…AND FULL ONLINE SUPPORT for as long as I own it!!!!

  • Etrian

    Filler.

  • Shelldragon3

This doesn’t have Avatar support right? It really should if not. :p

  • DGJames

I’m telling you this game is great fun especially if you have a few Microsoft points spare

  • HFC

This is just good fun this game. Feel the player control is a bit ‘jerky’ at times but this is a game I am really enjoying.
