New Xbox Original now available: Grabbed by the Ghoulies

 

Xbox Originals has just released Grabbed by the Ghoulies. It is now available for download for 1200 points.

    Lame, I wish they would add the Prince of Persia: SoT Trilogy. I know the would sell a lot.

    i remember having this for my xbox,its a so-so game

    i would like to see,KOTOR 1 and 2,SWBF 1 and 2,SW:Republic Commando,MGS2,Silent hill 2,Beyond Good and Evil,Armed and Dangerous,counter strike,Links golf….list goes on

    and okay i will bite Major….whats the suprise concerning Lost and Damned?..i am currently finishing up the flying rats,i have 36 to go

    I was “sure” that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas would make its way to Xbox Originals today since I saw it on The Spotlight on the 360 dashboard a couple of days ago. It would make alot of sence considering that Lost & Damned is released tomorrow.
    Oh well. Maybe San Andreas is the next game to hit Xbox Originals.

    Why do they keep adding crappy games? Jet Set Radio Future? Panzer Dragoon Orta? Shenmue 2? Marvel Vs. Capcom 2? Come on man.

    All right! Loved this game! Wish I wouldve waited instead of buying it from the store. Which I got for 3 bucks…

    Yes I wouldve payed 15 for this, Im a sucker like that.

    I liked the game but don’t think it was worth 15. I paid 5 for it used and didn’t finish it. I wouldn’t pay 15 for it.

    Why would you want to be? You can just buy it for $10 if you don’t already have it and it plays great.

    Am I right in saying the Xbox Originals don’t include Live support?

    Has the back compat program ended officially? Was still hoping for Midtown Madness 3, only fussed about playing Hunter and Keepaway on Live.

    I bought this a while back on disk. Personally I think it is a very good game.

    The only thing letting it down is the number of next-gen games that keep me busy instead.

    Pretty sure they no longer work on backwards compatibility. I remember when this game released in a bundle with the original Xbox.

    Back compatibility is very unlikely to be updated now.

    AFAIK the Xbox Originals support live if the original game supported it.

    Right now I am only waiting for 1 game. Morrowind. After playing through Oblivion I would like to go back and visit Morrowind seeing as how I never fully completed it. All I really remember is making pillow forts and such which was a lot of fun.

    @MACPH1ST0: I think people want the option to buy them as downloads rather than have to try and find a copy on disc that’s still in good condition. I know I’d buy the original xbox version of splinter cell double agent because I thought it was a far better game than the 360 version but there’s nowhere in town that has it and anything on places like ebay would be used and of questionable condition. I’m also interested in beyod good & evil and would be very likely to impulse buy it if it was on the international marketplace (Australia doesn’t have gta san andreas and a few others)

    I would also love to see more games reverse engineered so they were backwards compatible. If not, at a minimum I would like to see more Xbox original games available for purchase/download. PS3 abandoned backwards compatibility – It would be a good way to ‘stick’ it to them if you didn’t abandon it as well.

    Ok yeah Aliasalpha my bad. I just wish we could get some kind of official word on why Beyond Good & Evil never made it to the BC list, because if it’s not on there, I doubt it will ever make it to the Xbox Originals program. From what I’ve seen, it’s been one of, if not the, most requested title for the BC list, so it’s a shame we won’t see it playable on the 360. Oh well, I guess I’ll just look for a Gamecube copy of it for my Wii. At least one of the big 3 acknowledges that people still want backwards compatibility in their current-gen consoles.

    Another vote for Beyond Good and Evil. It’s a really good game and i’m sure that it will have a lot of success !
    (And I don’t want to buy back the original xbox ^^ )

    I’ve been asking about more backwards compatibility for months, but everyone at MS ignores me. I believe that they quietly stopped updating the list when Sony stopped updating theirs, which means that they are copying Sony, which makes them followers, not leaders. The only game that I want added to the list is Def Jam: Fight for New York, and that is only because Def Jam Icon was so horrible, but apparently both MS and Major Nelson will continue to ignore these requests, which is idiotic, because they are losing potential sales.

    on about arcade games i would love to have. Road Rash been top of the list, not played that for years. secondly, original micro machines would be sooooooooo rad. would anybody like to agree with me? or has anybody heard anything about why these games aren’t available yet? cheers
