Major-the title card for the watchmen is up on xbox live arcade, but when you select it,it only gives you the choice to download the video…and it takes that long for it to appear(the options),and when i press the guide button it always gets stuck and freezes now..can we go back to blades, there was no problems then!!

is anything being done to fix these problems?

  • Cronan

Yessss. I’ve been looking forward to this. Thanks Larry.

Excellent, I loved the first Riddick Xbox game. Great surprise that there is a Demo.

Just tried it, very awkward way to end the demo [it just ends with no cutscene…just fade back to the main menu] – but overall very impressed. Im not sold on the MP, most FPS have canned MP but I’m sold on the single player especially if this is not just a remake/redo of the Xbox 1 game.

  • metallicorphan

is this game still gonna include the remake of ‘Escape From Butcher Bay’ that appeared on the first xbox?

  • KP ScuzzyBunny

I saw an ad that said the game DID include “Escape from Butcher Bay”…now what you might have to do to access it, or if it only comes with a certain number of copies is another issue!

  • Arsenic13

    metallicophan – Yes

  • Hi I am Phil

The game includes Dark Athena and a complete makeover of Butcher Bay for Next Gen systems.

  • DKR1138

Yep, the game starts with Escape from Butchers Bay and leads in to the Athena content after thats been done. Or at least that how im to understand it… its not like its two stories… its a flowing story.

  • a peeking duck

And now it’s gone from the marketplace website. Ugh.

  • L0rN

Nice demo. I think this will be a definite buy. I loved the first one on the box and i think i just felt in love again.

  • oO Creech Oo

    Hell yes!
Thanks for posting this Major, I never would have seen it otherwise.

  • darkjester74

    Unexpected but appreciated! :)

  • Spargo CXVII

Riddick was a great game on the original box, can’t wait for the 360 version.

  • Digitalspirit

It’s just like the old xbox version. Plays well. Graphics aren’t exactly the best and there were some slight frame rate issues. Hopefully the final build will be improved.

  • Biomonkey

Loved the demo, can’t wait for the final game. Escape from Butcher Bay and Dark Athena are seperate games on the disc, meaning you don’t have to play Escape first then Dark Atena, but yes it is a flowing story from one to the other. I wanna know what the achievements are.

Yeah to bad i can download this…my xbox 360 (Elite) just got the ol RRD.

  • KnightOfYeshua

I cannot wait to get my claws on this. I missed the first Riddick games and if I get this, it sounds like I can start with the original.

  • Tirkon

I tried it out, and found it to be not fun. Maybe I’m burned out on the FPS dungeon shooters. I mean, Bioshock had way more interesting mechanics. Anyway, it felt kind of previous generationally to me.

  • Pantera Opeth

Good demo, last game was fun and looking forward to seeing how this one pans out. Just pre-ordered it, can’t wait.
