This seems a bit strange to me. No street fighter or Halo Wars on there and GTA only number 5?, wtf?. And who the hell is still playing Gears2???. Did Major post last weeks figures by mistake?.

Peoples tendency to buy increases when theres a sale on – not because its now at the right price.

Halo Wars came out YESTERDAY…of course it isn’t going to be on this list, and honestly, since RTS games aren’t that popular on the 360, I don’t see it getting much higher than 8 or 9, if it makes it at all next week. Mythic Map pack has been released…if you got a promotional code or purchased the LE of Halo Wars. I know I got mine, and the maps are NICE! For everyone else, the date has only been specified as “in a few weeks” by Bungie.

Hmmm… I’m a little amped for RE5, but I came here specifically to see what spot SFIV fought for. Nada? This is a bit shocking. Street Fighter Anniversary on the Xbox Originals is gone and Burnout 3 (the game that corrupted my data after I unlocked 20+ cars – Xbox version played on and Xbox360).

I have to ask “What gives?”

Also, tried to download that watchman trial, I had a dimmed out “Get Trial” with an X to the right of it. Can’t que it up as the Game Demo reverts me to the game photos at the bottom of the page. Where’s the Wheelman demo? I left for work with the movies downloading. I guess I’ll check it later.

I really want to get back into Halo 3 but I need those new maps. I must know when they will hit the marketplace.

Should be interesting to see if Halo 3 goes to #1 with the mythic map pack a little more available. Wonder where Halo wars will place as well. Glad to see Braid up there again. Have to admit I played it a little bit again.

Halo Wars has been out for a while in the UK

Yay Street Fighter 4! Personally I think the game should be at the top of the list, but 7 will do for now.

For a 1 vs 1 game, Street Fighter IV certainly is popular, and it deserves it.

Best game released this year imo.

Street Fighter from 1993 up to now deserves all the praise when Mario and Sonic were not enough. It made it in the top 10 CryptoElite, yep, that’ll do for now. Lobby in the future? (I hope so.)

Why is World at War still number one? It’s such a terrible game.

What I find disturbing is the fact that I do not like or play halo wars type games.Yet,i have to wait to purchase the map pack from xbox live,meanwhile their seems to be a large # of codes for sell on ebay for 50 bucks.I wasn’t born in a barn.Seems pretty fishy and sheisty to me.I just feel cheated because i have bought every map pack that has ever came out by Bungie.I refuse to buy a game that will collect dust just for 3 maps.Although I do want the maps and achievements, I will not pay 80 bucks or 50 bucks just to have them.I did order the LE from gamestop for my son,he got it yesterday.We do not live together,i feel that I should be allowed to purchase the maps now from xbox live so we can play together.

Etherphoria, there really are still good people in this world and you are one of them,but if you get it that’s your code,you might want to use it,unless of course you don’t play Halo.Anyways ,forcefully,I am prepared to wait,i just got COD WAW.I know it wont collect dust like the other one would.

I played some Halo 3 co-op today, as well as a couple of matches, and I must ask…Why do people play this crap?

I asked the same thing when a friend asked me over one night after work for Halo 2 (2005/2006) and he killed me with the greatest of ease. Then he had me battle his 4 year old son who also killed with almost the same effect (I was not used to the analog). I really wanted to cry and it was the LAST time I played the game until Halo 3 came out. It changed my views of the game, both for the actually learning ‘what’ and ‘who’ Master Chief (not Master Chef) really was. It is mindless fun taken seriously by a lot of … um.. guys and some girls. My experience pre-Halo, I agree with you, but until you play a good game with friends and understand why a successful snipe across the the board earns higher cooler points than a melee beatdown with any weapon, you won’t understand. Multi-kills are self explanatory and cool as heck. I still do not understand the ‘tea bagging’ thing, but it sure makes me angry when performed on me. Also HunCity DE, some people ask the same of Street Fighter. “Fun, Challenge and the pride to say “I got you! Now there! Want some more?” (in the litest sense)

So if the list is right…I’m surprised to see SF 4 and GTA 4 not be higher. And its a sad statement when Gears 2 being #4 is a success for the game. World Tour makes the list, when was the last time Rock Band was on?
Currently I am still making my way through the Capital Wasteland in between SF4 bouts, but I do plan on returning to L4D (glad to see it still up there), Halo 3, and at least the demo of Halo Wars.

You don’t have to buy the LCE Halo Wars for the Mythic Map Pack if you don’t want to. It will be put on the marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points relatively soon (check http://www.bungie.net for in-depth details).

And World at War is a half-decent game, but in my opinion (and the opinions of a vast majority of people, not a minority) it is a cheap imitation of Call of Duty 4 bar the time era. It’s fun occasionally but gets frustrating and boring quickly, very unlike its play-it-everyday-’cause-it’s-nearly-as-fun-as-Halo-3 predecessor.

I hope Epic decides to roll around the third title update very quickly, as I do think Gears of War 2 will be a very enjoyable experience when tweaked correctly.

And suffice to say, Halo Wars is nothing short of amazing, while with the Mythic Map Pack Bungie has done it again. Here’s to many, many, many more years of Halo! This is why Halo 3 should remain at the top.

Searing Wave-Bungie has no in depth details,the word is it’s all up to Microsoft when they will be available for purchase on XBL.Personally,I like switching between Halo and COD ,that way one never gets extremely boring.Also, I agree with you about Gears of War 2,it’s not fixed yet and needs the third title update.Frankly,it has potential to be as fun as or funner than COD or Halo if their were not so many uneven matches ,quitting ,cheating etc.Bungie did an overall pretty good job of fixing this with host migration techniques or whatever they implemented in their system.It seems GOW 2 matchmaking and online play is like the wild west,or comparitive to Halo2,in other words behind times.I’m really ready for a new game to come out that puts the big three to shame.Will that ever happen?Also,halo will always remain near the top,but this little stunt has angered some fans,and will unfortunately leave a mark in the long run.
