What a stupid name for this title. If I did not know any better I would dismiss this entirely as I do not like Metallica but love Queen. Surely they could have given it a better name?

must download… the high price input to this game in Mexico makes me doubt to buy it… (almost a hundred dollars… the game distributors sometimes are robbing mexican gamers…)

A game based mostly upon the music of metallica, with a few supporting bands, picked by ……. Metallica.

I could play almost any song on medium when playing guitar/bass, but when it came to vocals…

Well… lets just say that I had to play on beginner difficulty for vocals.

Oh an DO NOT try to play both guitar and vocals at the same time. It doesn’t work very well.

Well this looks like the first Guitar Hero/Rockband game I will buy… I knew they would get me some day, just never thought they would uses such good bait.

Before downloading this demo i was very skeptical about this game. I mean, I like metallica, but after a while it just gets old, ya know?

Anyways, this demo is amazing. Something about the games composition really makes it seem more realistic. It seems like less mind-less strumming and more rhythm. And as far as graphics are concerned this demo is beautiful. You almost have to watch someone else play to realize how good it really looks.

Did someone say Freddie Mercury? I meant Queen. Is there a list of ALL the songs Queen will have on Guitar Hero Metallica besides Stone Cold Crazy? Though I hope Queen comes to Rock Band in the form of more than just ONE or TWO songs. Trying this demo later tonight.

Why such a big download if only 4 songs?

w/e, just played it, pretty fun, and was worried about it being a bit too easy until I failed out of the solo on S&D… whoops. Might have to break out the rock band drums and see how those go.

Hell yeah!!! Been a fan since the early days (Kill em all, Lightning, Master… the classics)… this will be a definite must have!

I reckon its stupid how they call these games after a single band. I thought the whole point of gh games was that you have a collection of different artists under the umbrella of rock.

I still have the Guitar Hero 3 demo on my xbox and still play it now and then. So, if I wasn’t way over my allowed bandwidth for this month i’d download it right now.

The only way to play the guitar parts and such is if you already have a guitar which means this demo (and obviously the full game) sucks compared to the others. At least the other demos and games let you play without a guitar attachment. Sure, you can sing with your headset but most people probably don’t like to sing (especially Metallica songs).

The demo sucks and is just a waste of time.

I hate using the guitar… I’m way better playing GH with the controller… I’m not getting it now, what a stupid decision on their part to be guitar-controller only. Seriously, who buys a Guitar Hero game (and a METALLICA one at that) to sing?

To all the moaners. It’s simple, if you don’t like it you’re not forced to buy it. There are worse bands to base a game around. How about Guitar Hero: No Doubt or Guitar Hero: Oasis?

Look man ,Metallica kicks such ass that I would pay more than eighty dollars for this full game.As a matter of fact i would be delighted to sing or anything to this game.

My vote for the game of the year when this comes out!

I am all about Metallica (pre St. Anger) and thought the demo was ok. Great songs on the game, that is for sure. My only issue is GH in general… the multiplayer is terrible on it and I really miss being able to have my friends join me by invite into band careers like in Rock Band 2.

GH has it valid points, but if you just like to jam with friends you know online and invite them into your game, it is all abut Rock Band 2 since no other game seems to offer that.

I would whine about the charcter creator as well but, well, who cares ! lol For those who do care, the characters, clothes, and accessories are better on Rock Band 2 as well.

By the way, I hate Harmonix/MTV since they ripped me off earlier this year so it is not like I am all about them. I won a contest, the posted a page saying I won.. still have not recieved my prize nor any response to any of my emails… I won Jan. 5th (approx)… how long does it take ?

I will probably rent GH:M but, who knows, my birthday is April 2 so the wife might even just buy it for me as my present even though I told her I only want a card.

how many ppl out there think the 360 could use a real sleeptimer like the one in your tv cause i like to watch movies and game late night and we all do and if it`s late we sometimes fall asleep them we leave our consoles running does any one think a 360 s;eep timer not thatfamily timer thing would be cool
