Tempted to get James Bond theme anyone know how it plays like?

  • NavComm81
  • AriesDog

Just a warning. The James Bond Theme is NOT the classic James Bond theme. It’s more of a musician jam riff on the theme. Some people, especially those technical players that enjoy a challenge might like it. But not what I was expecting.

  • AriesDog

The Queen Track Pack is a must. More of this, please.

  • DamianIsabel

as far as gameplay goes quite ghwt is boring and weirdly charted,
I’m resisting ghwt dlc in favor of rockband which is just amazing and takes all my dough,
3/4 tracks a week are pretty pathetic compared to around 10 a week for rb too.

  • Ark Hunter

Wish this was all on Rockband. Too bad.

  • NavComm81

Yeah. As much as I love Queen, and I do own GH World Tour, I’ll hold out until I see this appear on Rock Band, assuming it will eventually. It’s just more fun!

  • Pirate at 30

Not getting it either but it is one of the few packs I wish was on Rock Band.

  • Azwethinkweiz12

This week is full of win.

  • Shiaoran

I want Paul Rodgers to die and rot in hell! >:(

So many good Queen sonds and they HAD to put one with that jackass…

  • AriesDog

Never understood fanboyism. GH and RB are essentially the same game. Some features are better in one, some in the other. I get ‘em all. Well except Guitar Hero Metallica because that style of music isn’t my kind of thing.

  • I Yova I

    nice track pack! keep’em coming!

  • Shiaoran

@AerisDog: IMO it’s the visual presentation. The notes and the special meter… In RB they’re alot better than GH, which seem rather inprecise and the special meter is too far away from the road.
It just feels better to play RB, it’s more comfortable.

  • FINKnATOR

I have all the Guitar Heroes and both Rock Bands, but I only pay for tracks on Rock Band since Guitar Hero 3. I just prefer to have all in one game, not to split them up. I have over 300 songs to choose from now :)

I also wish these Queen songs came out on Rock Band aswell… maybe someday…

  • LuKhon

I’m with AriesDog. I have both and play both. I actually like the circles as notes on GH better. The rock attitude of GH makes it more fun, too. At the end of the day, visual preference is just that–a preference. It comes down to the music for me so I play both and have a good time. That being said, back on topic … I’m getting the Queen Pack for sure.

  • AriesDog

Shiaoran, that’s a difference of taste. Not right or wrong, just a preference. I like the note highway in GH. I prefer the overdrive scheme in RB. I like the venues in GH better. The tour choice is more fun in RB. The bass gameplay is more distinct since GHWT. The singing gameplay in RB has a better rating system. There’s something fun about getting a new disc all-new music and venues in GH. The DLC marketplace in RB is more robust. Etc etc etc.

  • Shiaoran

I know, and that’s why I own almost every game of both series XD
I just stated what I believe to be the factor why it seems that so many people prefer RB over GH.
It’s like argueing about consoles. Most 7th Gen fanboys are 360 fanboys, yet the PS3 is just as good.
