    Good solid top 10 this week. Halo 3 will bounce back when Mythic is released to the masses. Modern Warfare 2 will take #1 when it’s released this fall. Can’t wait!

    Speaking of, I’m still curious why Call of Duty: World at War changed its title a few weeks back from “CoD: World at War” to “Call of Duty: WaW”. Now that Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 is now ‘tentatively’ just “Modern Warfare 2″ I wonder what it will be in the dash. “CoD: Modern Warfare 2″? “Call of Duty: MW2″? “Modern Warfare 2″?

    Anyway, like every week, please expand the Xbox 360 top 10 to a top 25 and please retire the original Xbox top 10! Thank you.

    Tried playing Gears again this weekend. Something about 3rd person Multiplayer I just can’t get into. Same with GTA multiplayer, but there the DLC and all sidequests and stuff make it still playable in single player. Love the Gears single player and the story, but since it is so short, I can’t get behind it. Plus it’s still buggy. Sadly there isn’t a whole heck of a lot on the horizon this year right now. ODST and Wolfenstein are the big ones for me, at least until we see some actual gameplay from Bioshock 2. Hopefully some of the movie tie-ins and 3rd person games will be actually good (I’m looking at you Wolverine and Prototype).

    The new title update and ranking system for Gears of War 2 certainly helped. Maybe there’s a future for the game after all.

    I’m probably going to trade in Call of Duty: World at War. Just not fun to me.

    Mythic map pack on Thursday (for those of you who didn’t receive a code via Halo Wars Limited Collector’s Edition or Bungie.net)!
