    1200pts for loderunner? I was looking forward to this but as usuall its been everpriced. Were no lessons learned by the poor sales of R-Type? 800 pts is the sweetspot, the sooner MS cotton on the better.

    good show, loved the laptops. Never played a Lode Runner game, but will be sure to check out the XBLA version…sounds like something I will enjoy.

    Hard to say about those Wii Fit balance boards. I personally use mine twice a week as part of my fitness routine, but like the Wii itself, the novelty probably wears off pretty quickly for most people.

    @ KEVLAR x: Lode Runner can’t be lumped in with the overpriced 800+ games because this is one of the rare ones that’s actually worth the higher price. Just look up everything it comes with if you don’t believe me. They could have easily priced this at 1600, so it’s a bargain at 1200.

    Hearing the Lode Runner history from back in the good ol’ days with Doug Smith and Broderbund was pretty interesting, especially the part about the… Lode Runner board game??? Wow I was surprised by that one too! I wonder how that would have worked?

    Well Major… You’ve lost me. This will be the first MNR I don’t download in almost 2 and a half years. When I started listening to your shows they were great! Lately though I have found them to be a bit slow and boring in places. I liked your show when it was about the Xbox 360. 25 minutes about laptops? Really? Your last show with Stepto(sp?) started out great. I was really interested in what he had to say. But what is the point of talking about banned gamertags if it all gets censored out? Sorry man. You seem like an awesome guy, but your shows are going downhill (IMO of course). I will keep an eye on the site, but I’ll pass on the podcasts for now. Take it easy Major.

    i thought the laptop info was great. When I’m at the office, I use two monitors, but when I work from home I’m limited to my laptop screen unless I go through the trouble of connecting one of my personal monitors to my work laptop. The dual-screen laptop is innovative, and I hope that kind of dual-screen laptop technology trickles-down to affordable consumer/corporate laptops.
    …
    Better yet, how about large-screen LCD TVs that have a smaller attached monitor. Picture-in-picture stinks…but a secondary screen would be great.

    erm sorry to burst the Microsoft bubble but Pro’s use Macs. (Microsoft should know this seeing as the Ad companies they use create the adverts using Macs)

    MAJOR! I love the show but is it possible to sort out some audio volume balance on it?! When you are talking i have to turn the volume up then this weeks show the outro music nearly blew my ears off! so had to turn it back down then turn it up again for the after show :p
    When im in work fiddling with my ipod touch turning it on and off and banging in passwords and turning volume up and down it makes me more inefficient which makes my team more ineffecient which makes the company more inefficent which affects then the Whole Country!!! Think of the kids!
    Also as im sure you are aware the after show of last week…well need i say more :p

    @Robschach Agreed! The audio is quite deafening. Especially during Stepto’s censoring session.

    @e Do you seriously love every game known to man? You seem to say that almost every game coming to arcade or 360 was your favorite game. I find it kind of unbelievable that you like every single one of these games or were you a pro-gamer and had really no choice but to?

    I love hearing from other parts of Microsoft – keep it up major! It’s nice to get a change of pace and hear a little of the other interesting things going on at Microsoft.

    My vote says do it more often

    I stopped by to talk about the sound quality of the shows lately but it looks like I’d be beating a dead horse at this point.

    I thought the laptop discussion was pretty cool though…at least the parts I could hear ;)
