Halo 3 still on top. I really do think this is the best of the map packs by a mile and it shows. Finally playing Halo 3 again, though the L4D DLC and the SF4 Tournaments will split my time up…but thats OK since there isn’t much on the horizon…just patiently waiting for Broken Steel right now…

Congrats to OutRun Online Arcade on doing well its first week out. Hopefully it will stay in the top ten for weeks to come.

  • A Dud Napalm

Why are you all red Lucky 13X?

  • Aryzona Bay

Gotta love Halo. The Mythic Map Pack is awesome of course. Good to see a game released in 07 still bangin at the top with the big boys.

  • PreacherMan23

It is nice to see Halo 3 doing well again.

  • DJThomasMelvin

I think it’s fantastic that Outrun is #1 … but does anyone else think it’s shady that they combined *all* of the Hasbro Game Night games to get it a #2 spot?

  • Beyond Genocide

    Halo 3 on top baby!

  • Kevin Boleware

I think the Arcade list is showing that everyone is finally getting tired of overpriced titles. Galactrix only made 10 and Flock didn’t even show.

  • n3rfherd3r

TMNT up in the arcade boards. Sweetness. I still love playing that game.

  • amacvane

    @Kevin Boleware
I noticed the low-ranked Puzzle Quest and the absence of Flock as well. I can definitely understand Flock not being there, as anyone who tried the demo would surely conclude that it is nothing but an infuriating game.

  • mhart

wow, TMNT Arcade in the top 10 4 weeks in a row now.

  • VILIUS169

cod waw double Xp weekend didnt help cod to beat Halo3

  • Damake85

I think Hasbro Family Game Night wouldn’t even be on the list if it wasn’t a combined sales of all the games in it, they should really rethink the pricing of the games, I’we passed buying arcade games lately because I’m not gonna buy the expensive games, too bad I’we heard Lode Runners gonna be 1200 points, I absolutely loved the game back on the C64 but I’m not gonna pay that much for it, I hope they’d go back to the 600 and 800 points prices but I know that’s not gonna happen but if they’d like to see more sales they could atleast drop the pricing to 800 and 1000 points I’m sure that would help in sales.

    HALO 3!!!!!!!!

  • CosMick

Glad to see Halo 3 still at the number 1 spot.

The new Mythic map pack is probably the best map pack there is.

And why in the heck is Supercow not in the top 10 of community games? Its awesome!!!

Also, glad to see The Dishwasher still doing well.

  • Warrengonline

Kudos on crash’in castles with Castle Crashers, “Peggle, peggle… more just is not enough.” and the washing dishes.. errr.. The Dishwasher is rock’in. Yep-yep. TMNT 1989, really? I need to get some of that action. I still need the achievements for Strategy, Turtle Soup and Slice and Dice. “Kowabunga!”

    LEGO Rock Band Announced?
Hmmm… I hope is has some neutral songs for Christians. The ONLY song I could sing during this past Christmas to show off the Rock Band 2 was Spirit in the Sky. LIPS passed only because of custom songs and turned into a deafening “Who can sing the loudest” match. LEGO Rock Band sounds good.

  • XjrBuddhaX

It’s funny that when Halo is on top the fanboys come out just to say “Halo 3 on top” or something along those lines. But when COD beats it out they have nothing to say and the “COD on top” is only posted a few times.

Both must be good games hints the reason they are both on top. Leave it at that.

    all hail king halo!

  • metallicorphan

would love to see a sequel to Star Wars Republic Commando…online play was great

UNO is in there, but UNO rush isnt,wow..but then again i always thought UNO rush should of been DLC for UNO and not a whole other game

Red just means that they’re a designated VIP from the Xbox community, not a Microsoft employee (that’s orange). http://majornelson.com/pages/Registration-FAQ.aspx

  • Supreme Entity

I am highly surprised that I don’t see Supercow up here on the list for Community Games. I don’t even browse in the Community Games much but that title is worth more than anything in there. Where is it?!?!?!?!?!

  • Hastor34

I’m new to the site but its great to see what is being played (especially when considering purchasing it for multiplayer). I do wish we could know what games aren’t top 10 but still have a handful of devoted players. I’d still pick up a used copy of a game as long as I could find a game, even if only 20 other people were typically online. Is there a full list that goes past #10 anywhere?

Anyways, yeah it is great that Outrun is doing well, I bought it right away after playing the demo 4 or 5 times in a row. Also great that TMNT is doing well. I have an original arcade board for it and a 2-player cabinet (Oceania version of the game made for 2 players so you pick your Turtle rather than it depending on your controller). I might still pick up the 360 version sometime. I do good to get a 2nd player when it is the board that’s currently in my machine, so I wouldn’t really need 4 player, though online might be a different story. Unlimited credits makes it seem SO much shorter than when I pumped quarters into it and always ran out before I quite beat it.

  • WaaghMan

@Supreme Entity Supercow is sold at 400MP so it will be at a disadvantage with other 200MP titles. Also I’ve played it and don’t think it’s worth “more than anything in there”.

  • tifosiotaku

Thanks to everyone who bought OutRun. We might now see some DLC for that game, and maybe Sega could get the hint now and give XBLA some more Sega racing classics. An XBLA version of Daytona USA 2 would be the greatest thing ever.

  • BrooksterMax

    Well done Outrun indeed.

  • BFBeast666

Hasbro Game Night is a clear sign that people DON’T vote with their wallets. It has worse value than many retail games (not that THAT says much, considering play times of under 10 hours for the average action title) and the 800 MSP price point per minigame is just short of armed robbery.

By the way, Major: What happened to the “game remakes will be cheaper than original titles”? Hmmmm?

Well, I was lucky enough to grab Lode Runner when it was 800 MSP. I wouldn’t have paid 1200 for it. Yes, it’s a fun little game, but I don’t see what elevates it above Age Of Booty or Band Of Bugs which have a similar list of features and were 800 MSP each.

  • MACPH1ST0

@ BFBeast666: Have you had the chance to fully explore everything in Lode Runner yet? It definitely has more content than the two games you mentioned.

  • Digitalspirit

Well 13 months after my 360 came back from the repair centre it’s bricked again with a second RROD. What the hell do the repair centre do, just give me another dodgy motherboard and hope it will last. It’s unacceptable that Microsoft continue to churn out these consoles with poor build quality. How do I know it won’t do the same thing in another years time? Not happy. :(

  • jcnewton

Just got on mp for LOTR: Conquest….ghost town. Anyone still play that turd of a game?

  • Hastor34

@jcnewton: Exactly why I think a list that goes beyond the top 10 would be handy, especially when you haven’t bought an older game yet. I’m sure there are games that have enough players to warrant buying, where you could always find someone to play with, but its always the same 100 people or something. That wouldn’t show on the top 10, but would be helpful info when considering a purchase. If possible, # of unique players would be nice to know. Does #10 have 500 playing, or 5000?

  • FOOLKILLER X2

    Halo Returns!!!!!!!!!

  • Searing Wave

Me likes Halo 3. A lot.

I really wish that Microsoft hadn’t given up on the backwards compatability campaign so early. It would be incredible to experience TimeSplitters 2 or TimeSplitters: Future Perfect again, especially on Live with the latter.
