I’m bummed that Family Game Night is at the top even though it has an unfair advantage of having multiple games grouped together.

Lode Runner will likely be off there by next week. Most people aren’t ready for 1200 point games that might actually be worth 1200 points.

Gotta love that people are such junkies for drums. Two different community drum games in the top 10.

    Halo 3 back on top

I think if you are going to add “add-ons” to the total for one, you should add it for all. So Uno gets credit every time someone buys a card pack, Maw gets one for every chapter sold, etc. By doing it only for one title, you are skewing the numbers, in addition to feeding into the perception that MS manipulates these numbers to “push” certain titles.

That being said, someone really needs to look closer at the price of things before scheduling releases! Two 1200 pt games, an 800 pt game, and a 100 pt DLC, all on the same day? Is someone really going to go buy a 4000 pt card so they can get everything??

  • Chux

Go ahead Outrun, way to stay strong!

  • Chux

    @ Killer Scuzzy J:

If it’s their prerogative they will. I know I only need 1200 for VOOT. You could also buy it off Amazon for the exact price.

  • ItsNymo

Nice to see that Lode Runner still made it up there. obviously, Price was no barrier for the fans…

  • Number 905

Is anyone else creeped out by how well those rumble community games are doing every week?

  • JORBO TRON

glad to see left 4 dead back in the top 5. halo 3 and left 4 dead are the two bes games out there right now

  • Sneeches

Lode Runner only made it to the list due to the 800 price point. I guarantee you it wont be in the top 10 at all next week.

  • MACPH1ST0

It’s sad that Lode Runner didn’t make it to #1 because of the whole pricing fiasco. At least it’ll be in the Top 10 for a while though. Hopefully more puzzle game fans will take a chance on it and find out how much it’s worth it.

  • Crazymarcel

“WIth moving offices later this week and my schedule, this week will see an all time low in terms of Tweets posted. I can feel it already”.

Honestly do people really care>>??!! If they do its quite worrying.

  • KnightOfYeshua

Interesting “math” to make sure the Hasbro Family Game Night makes it to the list. :)

  • Anonymous

@ Crazymarcel look’s like you do.

  • SniperED007

10 Ping Time !! LOL thats so sad.

  • Beyond Genocide

Lol, Halo 3 is so godlike.

  • Makavelo

hahahha Ping Time who the fuck would pay 200mp for a clock, i guess people have a lot of money to waste.

Sad to see that the new Update of SF4 didn’t help much :(

  • Warrengonline

“…global saturation…” RESIDENT EVIL 5. Oh lookie-lookie, its Lode Runner coming in at #4. Seems someone used the force to enjoy a great game! Go Dishwasher, keep shredd’in them zombies! P-P-P-Peggle! The UFC 2009 Demo throw me off a bit – awesome demo though. This list is already long and I hate to even say this, but… should we have a Top Played Demo list too?

    @Makavelo
Hmmm, I sensed this was coming with all the cheapie throwers out there. A Spectate ONLY Mode would have been better. Why? A lot of us would HONESTLY like to watch better fighters rumble. The upload video feature is like watching ALL of your sports games taped before you watch it. Watching it ‘LIVE’ is just awesome. That is what made Street Fighter HyperFighting and HD stick out so much. SFIV is still alive, just more private matches more than casual online romps. Oh, are you good? Let’s battle this weekend.

  • oO MG81 Oo

Hasbro Family Game Night being allowed the number 1 spot is a bit of a joke. I’ll just take it as Outrun being number 1 and Castle Crashers number 2 etc.

  • Thiago123

No surprise for me with the #1: Bungie hit a home run with the Mythic Map Pack. IMO the best pack by far, I’ve been having a blast on the Mythic hopper.

The only thing that did surprise me is that SF4 didn’t make it back in the top 10. The tournaments are fun, and the double blind character selection is key. More importantly, the DLC was free which is huge for Capcom after the Versus mode fiasco.

Glad to see Lode Runner below the top 3. Community, keep it up on avoiding the high prices!

UFC demo was good. Game will definetly sell well with all the fans out there, and I can see it poking in and out of the top 10 as major events come around. It looks like it might be dated soon by the tech in Fight Night Round 4, but I still love MMA over boxing so I will be getting that. How was the Red Faction demo? Surprised to see THQ releasing two big titles so close to each other…

  • metallicorphan

hopefully we will see Fallout 3 get back into the top ten when the third DLC is out and then everyone can get back to their game after already getting to level 20 and stopping

  • Warloque7

So is there any chance that the Major could reveal the UU numbers? I’d really like to know just how do the originals hold up against the current gen titles…

  • Etherphoria

    to Warrengonline

throwing isn’t cheap its street fighter, its the same as saying to many cheap punchers ruin the game. Didn’t really see SF4 moving up because of it though, I play tournament style now instead of ranked but I don’t think many people that stopped playing would start for a variant on whats already in the game.

  • The 7raveler

The Best map pack out there is dominating. Good To see L4D and Halo Wars Hanging around, too.

  • AriesDog

My weekly request for a ‘Games for Windows LIVE’ list.

  • tsaweeos

    BAM! L4D back up again!
Now if only it didn’t take 20 mintues to find a lobby with 8 players
    and everyone used their mic’s
and everyone didn’t leave after the versus match started.
    Or after the next round.
Or after the survivors get owned.

  • MetalGearFloppy

Cool… Outrun still at number 1 on the arcade charts! good stuff…

(see what I did there? eh?)

  • ChrisPilote

So, people ARE buying the Hasbro rip-off…Happy fools.

  • SilverFireshot

    @Thiago123

The Red Faction demo was surprisingly good. I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but after playing the demo several times I may just pick it up. It’s a blast hitting a guy with a hammer and sending him through a concrete wall.

  • Soniccar

Oh man, I thought the Red Faction demo was awful. Was looking forward to the game too. I really think that MS should have kept Lode Runner at $10 and just made up the difference to the company that made the game. That company got screwed out of many sales because of that pricing issue. I can’t believe nobody has done an interview with them to see their reaction. I personally wasn’t even going to get it at $10, but I’m sure that a ton of people, that were going to buy it at $15, won’t get it now.
