You can see what the problem is, if your go to your profile in my xbox and look at the fallout 3 achievments, all the new Broken Steel ones are there. However the total is 1200 the same as it was before so they haven’t been added on to the combined total.

The achievements are still ‘borked’ I see.

It’s not just achievements that are broken… where’s my missing textures dammit?
It really ruins the mood to see these bright red boxes with ! in them all through the game world, I just wish they’d refund my $10 since I can’t play the actual broken steel content properly.

    GAH!

Please MS get a new version of this up so I can redownload it!

I like the changes that have been made to the Wasteland. If you visit old locations, there may be new characters and new quests. I have not ventured into any of the new quests though…I’m afraid doing so may cause problems if there’s a new version.

The other thing that worries me…I don’t think this content can ever be removed once you add it, since your save files reference quests and places in this content. I wonder if you can really go back to a non-DLC state once you start leveling-up ???

There is a fix for the achievement glitch! Just go to http://wurl.ca/?r=297 and read the instructions.

Has this been confirmed. According to MGC.net people now have 1350 so im assuming all is ok now.

  • NeoVampyre

Yep, simple fix. Something takes time to update on servers and when you consider the sheer amount of achievements currently being tracked by Microsoft Servers minor glitches are bound to happen. Still the 360 version was perfect on release this time apart from the same Gamerscore delay, so nothing stopped me playing it and adding more hours on top of my already over 200 hours. We bought plenty of Oblivion DLC without extra achievements and personally would pay again for loads of non-achievement Fallout 3 DLC, please!!! So y’all should give Major Nelson and his Xbox team a break, he has a tough job keeping over 10 million consumers happy and proving that the 360 beats the PS3 hands down!

    To fix it I:

    1.deleted the broken steel DLC
    2.deleted my gamer profile
3.installed fallout 3 to the HDD (optional)
    4.recovered my gamertag
    5.reinstalled Broken Steel
    6.???
7.Fixed! (achievements now list correctly & missing textures are back)
