    awesome. quality game with a timely discount (and i don’t have it yet).

    also, i think that i read somewhere that if you have a copy of this game when you play the new retail bionic commando that you receive some sort of bonus. maybe it’s a rubber glove skin so that you can play bionic proctologist.

    Anyway, this seems to be an excellent deal considering the excellent reviews this game got. The “deal” pricing has already taken effect so I added it to my download queue and look forward to playing it later.

    Remember, you need to sign in w/ a Gold account to see the special pricing. I just checked it on the console, and Xbox.com and it is indeed showing up at 400 points.

    Yes, the price is showing up as 400 points at least. But the ad just hasn’t been updated. I’m currently playing my newly discounted copy of BC Rearmed :)

    I would LOVE it if they discounted Prince of Persia Classic to 400 points. That’s another one I’d buy in a heartbeat.

    Great deal, but a minus to Microsoft for delaying Capcom’s discount and making it their deal of the week. Deal of the week should have been the Combustible Map Pack. Nor do I see the advantage of limiting deals to Gold members. This isn’t Costco. Unless theres some really great deals to be had people aren’t going to be upgrading their membership. MS is only losing out on sales.

    I’m buying this on Sony’s PSN for a real looking $5… I don’t have the DRM issues, or the chance of system failures like I do on the 360 also.

    This deal isn’t even on Microsofts part, it’s on Capcoms. One of the better deal of the weeks in a loooong time isn’t even set by Microsoft since this is also on PSN. I don’t know if that’s ironic or just plain sad.

    This really should be a permanent deal like on the PSN. It’s Capcoms wish so it’s a bit bad that Microsoft are using it as a “Deal of the Week”.

    Anyway, for those of you who are “on the fence” about this title, you should really buy it. BC: Re-armed is a fantastic re-make which will have you playing for many hours (it’s quite tough on the harder settings. Great for those who enjoy a challenge!). This is quite possibly the best thing to buy for 400MS Points on the Xbox Marketplace.

    Even as I join in agreeing with those who say PSN handled this better than Xbox Live, I’ll note this is a step in a positive direction. This is a good bargain. If I didn’t already own the game, I would have bought it due to this deal, and I know friends who will be getting it soon due to the offer. It’s praise with reservations (your competition’s offering the same thing, only doing it better, it seems), but that’s still praise. I’m pleased by this weekly deal even though it’s of little use to me personally.

    i sincerely hope that the rest of the deals are like this one not some bs dollar or two off of some dlc for a game that was crap to begin with two years ago when it was released

    I think calling this a Deal of the Week is questionable. It’s been the equvalent of 400 points on PSN for weeks now. Give us something else in addition to this and I would be upset.

    I’ll pass on this, although I agree with others it’s a good deal, regardless of who set the price. I have myself back-logged on games, and working to make my way through them. Too many games, too little time!

    @ monosocratic: Yes, there’s two hidden items in this game that when found, they generate unique codes to unlock a weapon and a special item in the 3D Bionic Commando game out now.
