    More FAIL Deals! Get them while their still H-O-T, HOT!

    I am starting to notice how boring console gaming is now with the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Games used to impress me before. Now almost every game that comes out as a feeling of FAIL somewhere in it.

    The only games I’ve liked with the 360 are Gears of War 1(played the campaign multiple times), and Bioshock 1 (Played through 3 times). I sort of liked Crackdown and Saints Row 2. Everything else is just a disappointment. Even with the demos I’m still bored.

    I think it’s time my 360 met eBay and found a new owner. I’ll just stick to the occasional PC games that come out. Steam also has better deals anyway.

    Meh.. pretty disappointing to see this atfer the past few weeks have actually been really good. This content should have only been 400 points to begin with, a temporary discount isn’t going to get me dig up a copy of a very mediocre game.

    Awesome. I’m going to buy this. Force Unleashed was a mostly fun game, and buying DLC for $5 is worth it to me.

    Hopefully 50% off is going to become the standard for all future deals. Just a shame it’s for game I don’t own or care about, I think I’ll go and play Jedi Knight on the PC instead.

    I think this is a pretty good deal, I might try it out, specially if they put out more TFU DLC like it’s being rumored.

    I have the game but I read this DLC is not very lengthy so I am not sure…

    Some more arcade games at 50% would be good :)

    Castle Crashers is consistently a Top 5 downloaded game every week. Why the hell would they discount it? It is like the Packers suddenly lowering the price of their season tickets.

    Sony’s deals were good but that’s just for this week, we’ve been getting great deals overall for a couple of months. Most of those games on sale this week on PSN are crap. This deal sucks to me since I don’t have the game and don’t really like buying single player DLC other than Fallout 3 but I’m sure there are people that will enjoy it. I needed a break from buying XBLA games anyway since I’ve bought almost every game that’s been on sale.

    As a contrast, this is a eally good deal. Thing is only that a) I already got the DLC and b) it is broken in respect to achievements (seriously, I got not one for finishing the mission on hard, should have gotten three or four according to achievement descriptions). Has this been fixed in the mean time?

    I will also comment on how weak this Deal of the Week is. First, the DLC for Force Unleashed is ridiculously overpriced. 50% off is a good discount, but at $5, it’s just overpriced for an extra level and some skins.

    The fact that it’s an add on is not the problem with it, it’s the fact that it’s a terrible one.

    I think it’s time for 50% off on Castle Crashers and Geometry Wars.

    I hope you meant Geometry Wars 2, the first one is only $5 and well worth it. I do agree on Castle Crashers but I don’t know if I would pay $10 for it which is probably what it would be if it went on sale.

    @o0 Daz 0o: Sony do much better deals, but much less of their content is worth buying, and the majority of the time, they’re being discounted to just try and actually sell them. Although I think offering multiple deals is definitely a good idea, at least then if one thing doesn’t interest you, something else might, where as here, if you don’t own/don’t like Force Unleashed, you’re stuck.

    Wow, talk about timing! I’ve had Force Unleashed for a YEAR and am JUST now getting to playing it (this past week) and now this. Whoo haaaa.. I jumped the gun on buying 4000 MS Points for MvC2 and purchased WAAAAAAY too much content for Burnout Paradise – but enjoying every bit of it. I’ll add this to Splosion Man (Can we get Maw II?)

    Hmmm, is is DEAL (singular) of the Week. but it would be nice to lower the prices of Arcade games and DLC that is over a year old like 3D MiniGolf, Bankshot Billiards, Omega Five (though I WISHED that game had online co-op), Small Arms, Street Trace: NYC or other games. True I own all of those, but I’d love to have more friends to play on each game than just 1 or 2.

    There is VERY little stuff on PSN that interested me Street fighter Alpha (own if on CD – but had to buy it online too), Wipeout HD, Little Big Planet Add-ons and that’s about it (for me) besides retail game demos. :|

    Great deal! I’m actually buying the game this Thursday so this came at a good time. I wouldn’t have bought this DLC for 800 but for 400 definitely :)
