Just played through the single player demo… and this game has the potential to be a lot of fun. This may definitely find its way into my “to purchase” queue.

As soon as I heard it was by the dudes that brought us The Maw it became a must buy. =D
And I love how they incorporate freebies like that.

This game is just the pure greatness. I didn`t even try the demo. Instantbuy. It`s a very speedy jumpnrun. I like it.

A lot to like in this game. 50 single player levels with a Sonic-like feel (speedrun!), 50 multiplayer co-op levels for up to 4, great humor, and complimentary gamerpics/premium theme/first to use avatar achievables, all for 800 MSP? Yes please!

Might be an idea to remember the avatar unlockables won’t be available untill AFTER the fall dashboard update

I’m guessing you won’t be able to use the avatar accessories until the 11th August though.

Yeah, the game itself lists the extras (pics and themes) but has no mention of the avatar stuff. It would at least be nice to know what we have to do to unlock it. But it’s a seriously fun game, a lot of content, humour (the donut song is GENIOUS), fun achievements and a great multiplayer, I highly recommend this

Added this to my download queue, will give it a try when I get off work today. I did enjoy the maw so who knows…but I’m really saving my points for TMNT, so this may have to wait a few weeks.

Judging by the amount of content contained, IGN 9/10 review, I think people would be hard pushed to complain about the 800pt price level.

800pt is the correct level for XBLA arcade games IMO

This one was an instant buy, no trial needed

Mind-blowing fun! The end of the demo, whooo.. Level 1-10 (or 1-16?) FUNNNNY! The sound effects of explosions and destruction rival that of Raschet and clank – nice! Feels more like Gex than Sonic to me with the wall clinging and ‘splosion-jumping’. Fun-fun platform gaming!

Just perusing Game MarketPlace, is the Top IGN.com Picks something new? ‘NEW’ as in ‘still in the works’ as it is showing “No content available”.

The game is made by Twisted Pixel, the people who brought us ‘The Maw’.

Damn i loved that game; excellent gameplay & achievements = a winner for me.

Gonna download the trial now & probably end up purchasing it based on The Maw & other comments on here.

Btw, the games Avatar unlockables should be available when the Avatar marketplace is online; which is on 11th August (NOT in the fall).

This is one cool game. Haven’t brought one for ages… this might be the first. Oh, are there many people playing battlefield online?

Twisted Pixel is fast becoming one of my favorite developers. The demo is awesome! I’ll be picking it up for sure.

I played it, it’s quite fun!

Though, the remaining ms points I have left will be going towards marvel vs. capcom 2 next week, as the rest have already been spent on n+, monkey island and sam and max!

Might buy this game in the future though…

Good times for Xbox Live Arcade.
Will give the demo a try later, and by the looks of it, I just might end up buying the game. Sounds like it’s a fast paced platforming game where you have to take the geometry into concideration – kind of like Marble Blast Ultra. To those of you who have played it, is it anything like MBU? I love MBU’s singleplayer and multiplayer. One of the best XBLA games.
And, oh yeah, good times for XBLA. Worms 2, Battlefield 1943, Monkey Island and now Splosion Man? 4 good games in 4 weeks. Not bad. Well done, Microsoft and the makers of those games =)

A very simple idea well implemented . The leaderboards / time trials alone will cause fierce competition between friends – good stuff and well worth 800 points . A great start to Summer of Arcade – roll on Trials HD !

I have plans for my points, but may buy this in the future.

Great few weeks for XBLA, first Monkey Island then this. Please tell me when am I supposed to get the time to play these great games!?

Purchased. This XBLA Summer Arcade thing is going to drain my bank account and my free time. I must say i’m most excited about Shadow Complex though.

I am buying this tomorrow, but AFTER I get my 4000 points. MvC2 has had me anxious for a while and jumping the gun on content and games. I even bought myFishtank – odd purchase, but nice – not a game, but nice..

This looks like a fun game…and I’ll probably be getting it at 800 pts. Tried it out before work this morning for a few minutes, and thought it had potential!!! Hurray for 800 pt games!!!

Excellent game, throughly deserving of the 9/10 IGN score, multiplayer is a bit crazy in public games, a fair bit of lag, and some dumb-asses!!!

Instant buy for me, and I wasn’t dissapointed when I got home from work.

YES – Battlefield 1943 has broken download records, so there will be hundreds of thousands playing it.

I really want to purchase this! Loads of fun.

This game is great. One of the best platformers I’ve ever played. Hopefully I’ll be able to get 100% on this one.

Crap now I have to add even more points for what I want to buy.

Multiplayer on this game is CRAZY FUN. Hoop-holler’in good time, though a LOT of trick-jump’in deaths. Show offs die early.

I bought it this weekend. Any game that can compete for my time right now against BF 1943 has to be great and this game is. The 4 player multiplayer is a blast (no pun intended). What a fantastic job twisted pixel.

I got this game, had no idea where it came from or what it was about but was surprised when playing the demo that it was very very good!

In some parts of the world, not buying ‘Splosion Man is an offence punishable by splode.

Great game. Almost sold my Xbox 360 because of all the crap deals that was coming out. Glad this came out before I sold it.
