  • AnotherSociety

Nice! Looking forword to the new Zombie map ; )

  • Amoa

Thanks a lot for the direct link Bon3zz1001! Map Pack 3 downloading!

  • Bon3zz1001

    @Amoa No problem

Oh and by the way Major, no offense, but you guys should really hide your stuff on the online marketplace :) . I could have had the map pack 4 days before release if it wasn’t 99,999 MSP haha! But yeah.. no offense :)

  • NOCTORNUS

Nice…. See you all in the war zone

  • Major Nelson

Enjoy. I removed the Red Faction post I had here since I had bad information about the content going live. I will put it back up with the content is live. Sorry about that confusion. It’s all my fault.

  • SumHydroponic

Off topic: Has anyone with the Preview Program update seen any 360 games up for DL on Games on Demand? I just saw Bioshock on there for $29.95.

  • Anonymous

or you could buy Bioshock brand new from buy.com for $18.99 +free shipping, newegg.com has it for $19.99. If M$ prices the games that high, nobody is going to buy overpriced games. Well Im sure there will be a few morons.

  • Chicken Wyng

Bioshock better not be that much, for $10 more you can get Oblivion to and I’m sure it is cheaper at other sites. http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=74866

  • SumHydroponic

Yeah there is no way I’m going to be buying many, if any of the 360 Games on Demand. So much cheaper in stores.

  • Klix360

Bioshock is 40$ here in Canada…Games on Demand is a real rip off.

  • AIaskanGrown

cant wait to try out the pack a punch machine.

p.s. if they are charging more to download games on demand then they cost in the store, then i gotta say, that’s one epic fail.

  • BROKENRADIO541

Why am I at work when I could be at home playing this? Arrrrgh!

  • Computerdude103

Games on Demand will fail just as Xbox originals did if you price the titles excessively higher than what you can get them for in a store. Plus games you buy in store have resale value…

  • Anonymous

I just checked out Games on Demand on the dash, and there it was Bioshock-$29.99. Do they really expect people to pay more than retail for a digital copy of a game? Like the other posters have said, this will FAIL!

  • MajorEzyTarget

Well sad to say I’m passing on this. The last map pack was a huge upgrade over the 1st one but I barely got my fill of playing them yet. I wasn’t to impressed with the video’s on these new ones. Still, I’m very happy to see a game supported so well. Maybe if it was 500 points or so I would say what the hell, but for now I’m going to pass and save my points. There’s still plenty of stuff to come out before Xmas!

  • SnoopDope

SO, is this Map Pack under GEO-FENCING (IP addr based region locking) again ??

  • Echo307

I think you guys are overreacting a little bit to the price of those games. Any time a service adds convenience, it’s usually going to be more expensive. You get the exact same thing you would in the store, the product manuals are available on Xbox.com (assuming you’re one of the few that actually uses them), and you never have to leave the house to get it. Why is milk or bread more expensive at the gas station instead of at an actual store? Because for a lot of people it’s more convenient, and they’ll pay the extra to not have to make an extra trip somewhere else. I personally probably won’t be buying any of these, but the price doesn’t bother me in the slightest. And by the way, at a lot of retailers Bioshock is still $29.99.

    /2 cents

  • Ghost Shinigami

sweet new maps i love zombies can’t wait

  • Sneeches

new maps are awesome :) Love them!!!!

  • Rune 70

It’s just another way for MS to stop physical disk sales. You won’t be able to resell any of these titles.

  • SnoopDope

The PROBLEM is that this new maps are CAUSING INCONVENIENCES to people who choose not to buy them because they GET KICKED out of the lobbies when a DLC Map is selected.

  • ExtremeGamer

Want to thank MS for the free Call of Juarez maps today. They were listed as free on XBox.com this morning so I grabbed them, now it’s 800 points. LOL

  • Ghost Shinigami

it wont let my cousin download the map pack 3 cause he’s in peru for the summer any way to get around that???

  • SnoopDope

    @Ghost Shinigami: it’s called VPN

  • Ghost Shinigami

    @SnoopDope: thanks for the info

  • alex5523

( games on demand ) the only stupid thing im waiting to be said by someone from microsoft is that those prices are high because they need money to make mainteinance on the servers so we can download those games on demand.

  • DHartmann

    Nice map !!

  • Mithrildor

Got it ,quite nice maps. And stop crying that the games are so expensive in the US. $50 is nothing here in europe you pay 60 euro for a new game.

  • oO MG81 Oo

I’m a sucker for new COD maps so I picked these up. I think these are way better than the last map pack. Loving the Battery map with all the anti-ship mines and sea rig type platforms.

  • RAWDOG 262

I really want to play these new maps soon but some reason it will not allow me to download it. It’s annyoying I bought some points to buy this and it doesn’t allow me to download it?

  • RuairiAU

I seen Mass Effect on the new Games on demand service for $99.99 AUD – thats $83.82 US!!!! We’re getting screwed!
