Imagine what WaW would be at without Nazi Zombies. So glad I sold it.

I don’t know if this is a “new feature” but my brothers xbox had 2 gold accounts on it and there were 2 copies of each account. THey had obviously been recovered. So to avaoid confusion I went to the MU and deleted the two non working gamertags. I selected delete all items since I wanted to make sure there were no game saves associated with the accounts on the MU. I then went to sign in with one of the accounts and guess what? The good ones off the hard drive were deleted too. ONe of the accounts is fine I was able to recover. The other one I am not even sure the Passport associated with it ever mind the password. Now I am going through a 3 or 4 hour process to reset the password because the gamertags got deleted when the should not have been

I’m loving the new W@W maps. It’s a great game.
It’s good to see Epics broken game still not getting any love despite the new DLC. Maybe for Gears3 they’ll make it more like the first game which was actually fun to play despite its glitches. Or even better maybe they could just make a game that isn’t full of bugs and glitches.

I am very excited for Modern Warfare 2. It’ll be one of the best, but it will not beat Halo 3 for the top spot. You underestimate how many people are dedicated to Halo. ODST will only bring more people to multiplayer.

Here’s to hoping that we get a Games on Demand list next week. Not because it’s essential, but because it seems like a logical inclusion… and because lists are sweet!

Hopefully the new ratings system will mean we’ll actually see some good Indie games on the list next week.

As I understand it, just because the account was recovered does not stop the original expired one from linking to its items. Any copy of your gamer profile will still remain tied to your save games and files, even if it has been expired by recovering your account elsewhere. The files are tied to your gamertag and as both the expired and new account are for the same gamertag, they relate to the same files.

So you should NEVER choose “delete all items” as that will wipe everything for that gamertag. I would have thought that pretty obvious as recovering your profile does not touch your save games. If it did, you would be stuffed if you had to recover your account on a different console as it would expire all your save games on any other console. So naturally, it doesn’t – save games remain tied to the gamertag not a specific copy of the gamer profile.

Next week, CoD WaW will probably be on top because of the recently released map pack. I have to say, Map Pack 3 is the best piece of downloadable content I have ever bought. I get frustrated with all the people who say “CoD 5 sucks”, and “CoD 4 is way better”. I have both and each game is very good in its own way. I prefer the campaign and weapons on CoD 4 but love the online play and Nazi Zombie mode of CoD WaW. They are both excellent games.

@Alex I specifically chose MU so my actions would only affect those on the MU. There are game saves on the MU I wanted them off. It should not have removed anything from the hard drive when I specifically MU

I don’t think I’ll ever stop playing Halo 3, even after Reach comes out. Modern Warfare 2 will be my secondary game though for sure, replacing Call of Duty 4.

I’m disappointed Gears of War 2 made no progress. The hope of it rising any higher is extinguished. That’s too bad, since despite the issues still plaguing the online multiplayer, the new maps are terrific and the game is a lot more fun now than it used to be. Epic had better get themselves sorted out for Gears of War 3.

Halo shall never die . Too bad halo wars isnt in the top 10.
