Nice! Can’t wait to give this a try. SOOOO many demos out recently, I need to actually play some games

Tried it last night. Fun game, will at least rent eventually when I get time. The grainy effect kindof got on my nerves towards the end of the demo though.

Can’t wait to try this out. And yah there are a lot of demos recently, need to find time to play them all.

It’s like illegitimate lovechild of Stranglehold and The Club… but it came out a little deformed. I’ll be giving this a miss at release.

Played some of the Demo, I may rent or wait for a price drop.

Not all that original, since it uses the ’70s grindhouse visuals of House of the Dead: Overkill and the slo-mo acrobatic combo style of Strangehold, but still pretty fun if you like that kind of game. And it also helps that Rubi is one of the hottest game characters since Lara Croft and I’ll admit, it was kinda hot to hear Eliza Dushku shouting profanity at me(lol). And yes, the grindhouse filter on the graphics can be a bit annoying to the eye at slower moments in the game, but once the action starts up, you hardly even notice it. Fun as it was though, I’ll still probably waiting for a further (GameStop is already offering a $10 pre-order price drop on it – a bad sign perhaps?) price drop on it.

Funny how a game called WET should have slippery controls. Regardless, it -IS- fun and I’ll almost certainly pick it up on the cheap one day. Just nowhere near the release date.

The grainy effect to the game got on my nerves and would give me a geadache if I played it too much, I know the effect is meant to be there but it is an awful effect and should be removed or at least have a way to turn it off.

So for that reason and that reason only I’m Out !!! ( sorry, I’ve been watching too much Dragons Den ).

Feels too much like Stranglehold but doesn’t feel that great for me.

I was a little disappointed with the extremely mundane and simple gameplay structure, but the striking Grindhouse visuals sat well with me, it’s just that the whole vibe felt too much like a PS2 generation game… It also smacked too much of “try hard” all over… They should have just kept it at cool instead of going overboard.

Hey man I want to know , is there any T&A showing here or any chic’s butt at all. I sure hope so. I need more Mature video games.

Really fun demo, but I hate the “monster closets.” Unlimited spawn doors suck in modern games.

Id love to try this but MY BELOVED 360 got RROD!! seen as its a modified console (painted it black, put a perspex window in the side and led lights) there no damn warranty, did the xclamp fix, which fixed it.. now rrod is back!! no amount of changing the pressure on the clamp screws is helping! DAMMIT!! … Major, you can get stuff done right? how about helping a LOYAL xbox fan!

The visuals are great, but the gameplay is just hideous. Another round or two of polish would have helped, but not by much. Give it a miss.

Its like “Stranglehold” with out a guy. Plus there arn’t many objects to brake into tiny bits. I don’t like the animations with this ether. “Stranglehold” has much better gameplay. Also, better animations. The only good thing I liked about the game. Was slow-mo, gives a new style to any 3rd person action shooter. Then again* They have taken that from the “Matrix” and the “Kill Bill” hyper mode.

How about you stop messing with your console and then crying when it has no warranty, you want a black case?

Don`t be a cheapskate with a tin of paint and buy a bloody elite!!

If you had of done that in the first place you would have been getting a FREE repair now, instead of having to try and bodge it with nuts/bolts/washers and some artic silver paste, which is not going to end up with anything other then you needing to buy a new machine as the bodges start to fail (just like they have already done)

it was pretty fun, although the vehicle part sucked. I might get it, but with all of the games coming out this fall it will probably get lost in the shuffle

Meh… nothing special, IMO. And the grainy film effect made me feel like I was playing drunk and started to drive me nuts after a while.

It was OK, but not a day 1 buy for me. This why I like the xbox, you always get demo so you can try before you buy.
