    Yes, I believe the Halo Mythic disk is recorded as Halo 3 in the above chart.

    Top 2 spots for Halo, not bad.

    yeah its b/c the halo 3 disc in odst IS Halo 3, so ODST has all its players, then Halo 3 has ALL of the ODST players, plus the guys who haven’t bought ODST yet. So of course it’ll be higher. As long as everyone who bought ODST put in the Halo 3 disc, it counts for H3.

    On another note, people. Buy Sol Survivor for Indie Games. The patch comes out soon to improve the demo. Please don’t mark it down as “just another TD game”, the multiplayer is fantastic. Unbelievably. This is so far above and beyond Defense Grid it’s not funny. Once the inviting friend bugs get worked out and more maps added in this update, it SHOULD be unstoppable, that’s how good the multiplayer is.

    This doesn’t suprise me at all…I was expecting those two to be 1 and 2, just not sure what order…now, if they manage to stay that way for a few more weeks, I’ll be shocked…I don’t see ODST having the staying power that Halo 3 does…

    Oh, and what’s it say about Madden that the demo is on the list but the full game isn’t?

    Look at Pinball FX shoot up to #2 on Arcade games list thanks to the deal of the week. Note to MS: Deal Of The Week works on content that people actually care about/want. Aka Arcade games and popular game DLC, not themes or obscure/outdated content.

    Without the tie-in disc to Halo 3, ODST would have definitely been number 1 for this week…2.2 million copies sold in the first 24 hrs usually spells success. As for staying power, I don’t really see it, as Firefight mode is fun, but just not enough variety to keep the game up in the top 3.

    a look at Bungie’s page (where they show games/players for each game) in the last week already told us what order each game would place in the top 10. H3 consistently had about 500k more players than ODST. if the Mythic disc (ODST’s multiplayer disc) XBL presence was ODST instead of H3, ODST surely would’ve had the top spot this week.

    oh well, I’m just happy to see 2 Halo games at the top, especially since Halo 3 was released 2 years ago.

    Not that I care what game is on top. It doesnt do anything for me but, I will say when 11/10/09 rolls around a new owner of the top spot will stay for quite a while.

    Lol @ CoD4 being ranked higher than CoDWaW. Maybe some people finally have the common sense of which one of those is actually playable.

    ODST is amazing, but Halo 3 remains the king. Modern Warfare 2 will undoubtedly take and hold the top spot for a while, but Halo 3 will reclaim it after a certain point.

    2010 is looking to be a really good year to be a gamer!

    People are getting back into COD4 since MW2 is coming soon…
    I can’t wait for it! I’ll play ODST until then, but once MW2 comes out, I have the feeling that will be the only game I play for a long time.
    Let’s see if all the COD players get it and boost it to number 1!!!
    Firefight is cool though.. like horde mode on GOW2 but more fluent and less buggy/laggy

    I’ll keep mentioning it… with all these sequels now, we really need a top 20 list, not a top 10. After MW2 comes out, half of this list will be occupied by Halo and CoD games. GTA and Gears are obviously not going anywhere, so that leaves 3 spots for the rest of the world to fight over. Not very informative. I want to know what is at 11-20. Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Batman, Fallout 3, L4D, and several others games have to still be in that list, and I’m curious to find out. So again… TOP. TWENTY. PLEASE.

    Am I the only one who thinks it’s abit stupid that demos are listed in the top games played? We only have a top 10 as it is so who cares about the demos? Bungie are pretty shady by having 2 top spots with pretty much the same game but I’m sure you Halo fanboys will all disagree. Once 10.11.09 arrives Halo & ODST will be pushed back down the list…..FOR GOOD!!!

    Sorry I forgot to mention that it’s not THIS site that has the problem posting comments it’s when I try to do it through ‘Mobile Major Nelson’. I’ve tried it on my phone, several of my friends phones and the iphone and it seems to be very much luck whether the comments actually get posted.

    agree with TBizzle…not only will there be 3 COD games and 2 Halo games (I suspect ODST will drop off after a while though) then next year is Halo Reach. TOP 20, and stop counting the demos. There should be a dedicated list for demos, or lump them in with Arcade games as they are arranged on the 360 itself.

    MW2 will take top spot for a week or two then H3 will be back on top.

    Zombie Apocalypse was a disappointment, I just hate games that don’t let everybody unlock achievements at the same time. It shouldn’t take the fun out of the game… but it does.

    First time in a while Gears2 has been in the 5th spot. Mysteriously it has remained solidly in 4th place for months. I fear that when MW2 releases COD4 and WaW will drop down the list, leaving Gears2 misleadingly back in the 4th spot or so.

    I played ODST and the new Halo3 stuff this week. The ODST campaign is so short, it’s a joke. I can’t stand playing Halo3 multiplayer so I just got the 1750/1750 achievements and took the disc out. Went back to Gears2.

    For a game I love to see failing on the charts (so maybe Epic will fix it) I sure do play it a lot.
