    Technically, I guess this is a good deal and I’ll probably get it. However, I feel like the deal of the week should offer more variety than $2 off a single $5 product. I guess offering multiple deals was a one week thing.

    Fantastic game that everyone should own in some form but come on Microsoft, it’s like you’re not even trying this week.
    The multiple-deal system works, just look at all your competitors! This should supplement other good deals, not be the main attraction.

    Aside: Now more people will play this, get Sega to fix the online. Whomever plays as Tails suffers from roughly one second of input lag which kills it. Also, when people quit the win is not counted, which means new players will have a nightmare getting those ten wins after people get bored of having to play one second into the future.
    Don’t let this put you off if you’re thinking of buying this, you still should.

    Damn you guys complain alot. If its not about the price of GoDs it’s complaining about not having multiple deals of the week. I wish you guys who complain week after week would just disappear.

    Last week was nice with the multiple deals of the week. I don’t understand why you don’t keep up with that. There’s like a million pieces of content on the Marketplace. Only putting 52 things on sale a year is nothing. Don’t you realize you’ll sell a lot more stuff if you discount it??

    For 240 points, this is a steal! I’ll absolutely pick it up just like I did with Peggle last week. Major, this is a really sweat deal on par with what Valve offers over at Steampowered.com. Keep ‘em comin’ :) !

    PSN has 7 games on sale this week @ 50% off. Steam puts 2-3 games on sale each week (not to mention about 40 this past week. This XBL game is already available 2x in disc-based games which can be had for under $20. Is there any reason someone SHOULD pull on this deal?

    Good deal, great game and already in the bag when it was 400MSP which was a good price point anyway let alone 200 odd!

    but could we have permanence on price drops with multiple items please. There is such a library on XBL that surely this can easily be achieved.

    Again I will continue my campaign to see more arcade hits with titles reduced to 400 permanently! Cheerio

    Oh, wait. I did get Assault Heroes for 180MSP last year. Now THAT was a good deal! And Ikaruga for 400MSP. N+ for 400MSP. Halo: Combat Evolved for 600MSP. Peggle for 400MSP.

    Hmm… okay. Maybe Sonic 2 isn’t the best deal of the week, but it’s definitely a good one! Go Tails!

    Yeah if you care about the extra achievements and the online multiplayer, then I guess this would be a good deal to get, but otherwise there’s no point to getting this if you have the Sega Ultimate Genesis/Mega Drive Collection which already has this same game.
    It would be nice if the multiple-deal weeks could continue so as to compete with the other platforms offering MUCH better deals, and it could include something like a new-XBLA/classic-game/DLC model to give a good variety to choose from.

    Once again I have to agree with many here…please bring back the “Deals (plural) of the Week”. This is a bit of a disappointment coming off of a nice Thanksgiving week of Deals…especially on Cyber Monday.

    Ok good game but this deal of the week is an absolute joke. Whats with odd numbers? 40% off at 240 ms points why not make it 200 the price is pretty much should be all the time. Makes me wonder where the games industry is heading. You could get a megadrive and all the sonics for the price microsoft will charge for the sonics on xbox arcade.

    Not knocking the game, but im sure anyone not living under a rock for 15-20 years has played Sonic 2 more than likely they own it already on 4 different consoles. Its easy to port yeah but your also microsoft pioneers of invention. The arcade needs a revamp, and all those sega games need heavily cut, and the online servers need fixing, games like turtles arcade, streets of rage suck online. Its not worth paying for.
