Marketplace, Xbox 360 Games On Demand By Larry Hryb, Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson

  • BMF Irish ace

back to the €29.99 u must be mad can get these games half the price

  • Queasy1

    Major,

The FaceBreaker link doesn’t show anything to download.

  • Xebu

@Queasy1: FaceBreaker isn’t available in the US that’s why.

Trivial Pursuit on the other hand should be in the UK (according to above) but isn’t showing anything.

On the other hand it looks like £19.99 (based on Bolt) so no go anyway. Triv is available with Burnout Paradise for almost half that on eBay.

It also looks like parity is back with the US: $19.99 and £19.99. Funny I could’ve sworn £1.00 was actually worth about $1.60.

  • YODA12320

Canada and UK only for Facebreaker for $19.99 plus tax so for $23.00 it still a crappy ea boxing game lol.

  • MeridusBeta

Apparently I live in Belgium as Trivial Pursuit isn’t showing up for me.

Seriously though, I really don’t know anyone bonkers enough to pay these prices. Yet they still keep releasing them. I guess some people must be crazy enough to buy them.

  • seldinhio

At this point I have no interest of GoD. The idea is great but man is it to expensive. They need to go to Steam to learn how it should be done. Who likes to get riped of? Not me for sure. They need get more deals out there. After all it’s just a digital copy of a game and they are old as crap.

  • MACPH1ST0

You can tell FaceBreaker must be a pretty crappy game when the only thing the Marketplace description says for it is “FaceBreaker™ brings you a pretty sweet game that you should totally play.” lol

  • foxhunt99

Wow, 3 shitty games in one week. If you want to release some games on demand, at least release the good ones.

  • MeridusBeta

    @seldinhio

Completely agree. If every retail game available on Steam was priced at £20/$20/€20 (don’t even get me started on the whole currency conversion issue), then it wouldn’t be where it is now. In fact it may not even be here at all!

  • VIGOR MORTIVORE

€10 each at my local retailer. at least they understand there’s a customer behind the wallet.

  • ElektroDragon

Aside from Trivial Pursuit, these are terrible. But PLEASE keep up the new trend of releasing MORE THAN ONE Game on Demand per week!

  • sleepydumbdude

If I didn’t own Trivial Pursuit all ready I would have probably got it on this.

The other two games I all ready own and purchased at Best Buy for 9.99 new about 6 months ago. Not worth anything over 9.99. Don’t even think facebreaker was worth that.

  • Candy Bling

    30 €uros for Trivial Pursuit? I hope thats a bad Joke….

  • CAPP3SIXTY

    Wow, what a joke!

  • moocow21

None of these games even remotely appeal to me, so I won’t even bother to check (and probably be disappointed with) the prices.

  • Codename6

    Woohoo…BOLT! :/

  • A Place for Us

    Too expensive once again. *sigh*

A very potential service but not at those prices!

  • Shonk jr

Facebreaker i piked up new for £4 about 6 weeks ago
    £20 ($34) us lol

Trivial Persuit i picked up with another game new for £9 when it was new out

    these prices are really bad

  • DavidGX

Gigital = CHEAPER than retail. These are not.

    Overpriced.

  • DavidGX

    Digital even.

  • NONSKID

I couldn’t buy any of these even if I wanted too. Those of us with a 20 gig hdd don’t have the room for even one of these games at 5 gig a piece. Microsoft really needs to lower the price of the hard drives before I will upgrade. Here in Canada they want $110 for a 60 gig and $160 for a 120 gig. I put a 250 gig in my PS3 a year ago for $73.

  • Exu

    Load of old crap. Again.

Microsoft, you’re just doing exactly what got Xbox Originals discontinued, only this time the mistakes are several times worse.

  • Xlrking

Facebreaker is boring, and the other two are games i dont even want to try.

  • BMW530XD

Haha, back to the old price.
Microsoft will never learn from their mistakes ??
It should be half the price in my region. They sell it in the store for half here.

  • mccalejk

To all the people complaining about price, please go away. You don’t have to mention this fact every week. The fact is MS has to sell games at their MSRP. IT’S THE LAW IN THE STATES!

  • PeaceSquid

Yeah, Mccalejk, apologists like you don’t really help matters.

  • Shonk jr

Im not in the !!states!! mccalejk
and there is no law here saying that
they have to charge us $34 us
for a game that goes for $6 new

  • UKresistance

“To all the people complaining about price, please go away. You don’t have to mention this fact every week. The fact is MS has to sell games at their MSRP. IT’S THE LAW IN THE STATES!”

Quick, someone report Steam for breaking the law. I knew those good deals they kept offering couldn’t be legal.

  • casinoman

Trivial Pursuit is available in the United States even though it is not mentioned in the country list. Disney Bolt is also available. Both are $19.99.

  • casinoman

I like the idea of Games on Demand. I would just like to see more done with it. I would like to see some of the unreleased titles from publishers who didn’t quite make it or the larger Arcade titles or conversions of Japanese games come out as Games on Demand. I am also looking forward to the Games on Demand for the PC. I hope that I see some of the potential that I haven’t seen on the 360 yet.

  • seldinhio

casinoman->I agree. I rely hope the best for GoD for Windows. Getting some achievement on the PC isn’t bad. Like some games are like more of a PC game. But of the pricing is wrong den the whole service is back at zero. Right now the interest is small from me, but the potential is there.
