Wow I wasn’t expecting a demo for this one at all, especially not before the release date. Hope it’s worth it!

  • Vegivo

Just dld it havent tried it yet but reminds me of ninety nine knights a lil bit idk

  • IXI HERETIC IXI

Haven’t heard to much about this one, hope its good.

  • TidalPhoenix

Graphically, and judging purely from the videos I’ve seen at IGN, it seems a bit lacking – especially in the texture detail. Still – I’ll give it a download and see what it’s like. Could be a sleeper hit in the waiting :)

  • SalarymanDaishi

Ooh, more PC games making a jump on the 360! Came totally out of the blue and never played the first game in the series, Beyond Divinity, but this sequel has received mildly favorable (PC) reviews and seems worth checking out. Granted, have to wait a week since we silvers are outcasts but a demo is still most welcome! Heck, I even had reasonably good time with Two Worlds and if Divinity II can provide at least an equal experience, I’m fairly interested – most likely not in par with the likes of Oblivion or Dragon Age but then again, RPGs are so few and far between that beggars can’t be choosers.

  • Ark Hunter

Yes, that’s part of what the Gold people are PAYING for. Don’t complain if you aren’t paying for anything.

  • ElektroDragon

The first game in the series is Divine Divinity, not Beyond Divinity. Divine Divinity was AWESOME. Beyond Divinity kind of ruined things. Hopefully this one is more like the first. I had it pre-ordered for the bonus goodies. Hopefully, I won’t have to cancel after trying the demo!

  • SalarymanDaishi

Oops, apologies for the mistake between Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity (same developer, after all) and Ark Hunter, don’t worry – I’m less complaining than looking forwards to an interesting demo. If 360 gets more RPG goodness, I’m all for it!

  • marklar2k5

wow, as corny as that description sounds, I’m still going to try it out

  • spif2001

The game is ok – nothing fancy. It came out a month or so ago here in Europe and needs a patch, which hopefully will be ready when it goes gold for US.

@SalarymanDaishi: The first game was called Divine Divinity. Beyond Divinity is a spin-off. Divine Divinity is a game in the Diablo genre – and feels a lot like the first Sacred game.

  • ElektroDragon

I tried the demo…. I quite like it… better initial feel than Two Worlds or Sacred 2.

  • So Solid Jedi

Major, whats the deal with us Brits getting alternative deal to the US? You guys in the States get a good deal like Indie Game Avatar Golf for 160 microsoft points whilst we here in blighty get LIPS DLC “White Christmas” Song for 80 microsoft points, hmm something dont add up, lol. I guess at least those small % of British Casual “LIPS” Fans out there might appreciate it, Grrr.

  • Blue Thunder28

Sweet! Definitely didn’t expect a demo for this one I’ve been wanting to try it out too this is great.

Paying for a demo to be out a week early is hardly amazing. Now if we got demos Silver members didn’t…that would be different. Its like paying to get see a movie a week early. Not that big a of a deal when a week later everyone will see it too and your no longer “that cool person”.
    .
    .
Really they should just make playing games online a Silver thing and keeps the other perks a Gold thing. I don’t care about facebook, early demos or any lame gold exclusives. I only care about playing games online. Its why I game. And everyone else on every console and on the pc KNOWS this. They know gaming online is supposed to be free. Sadly though gamers today have ADD and buy anything so MS gets away with charging us for this crap.
    .
    .
Speaking of. They haven’t came up with a name for this generation. Maybe “Generation ADD” or “Generation Robot Buyers” will work.

These add to queue links stopped working for me now that I’m on my 4th RRoD replacement unit.. anybody have a suggestion?

  • Veive257

Seems interesting but the graphics looked old.. objects intersecting, flat textures, missing animations.. or maybe pigs just flip from one direction to another at the speed of light in this universe.

  • Xlrking

Never played this game before, i might be missing something good/bad, so i will try it when i can.

  • TidalPhoenix

Just tried the demo. I think this game had promise but it seems to me they are using the same 4 voices for virtually all characters, the dialogue is longwinded and waffle-y, and I just think I’ve grown out of having to click a predetermined phrased response, and then the next one in the list, and the next one, ad infinitum.

The graphics are pretty lacking too. I swear there are Arcade games with better graphics than this and the frame rate issues are terrible.

Not for me, but it might float a hardcore RPG fan’s boat.

  • SumHydroponic

This demo makes me pass on the actual game. Think I’d rather just play through Dragon Age for a 3rd time then pick up this garbage.

  • CFR

It’s a pretty decent game. The voice acting is good, and overall the gameplay is decent too. Graphically, it could be better, but games like this on the 360 aren’t usually very graphic heavy. For example, Dragon Age: Origins on the PC has much better graphics than the 360.

Aside from the graphics, this could definitely be a good game. But I doubt I’ll buy it. I don’t think I’m going to buy another game until I finish the ones I’ve got and then wait until Perfect Dark to come out on Arcade…

    garbage

  • MACPH1ST0

Just finished the demo last night – wasn’t expecting it to be so HUGE with content! And yeah sure the graphics are pretty average at best, but the gameplay more than makes up for it. The transformation into dragon form and flying around battling as a dragon, limited as it may have been in the demo, was still pretty fun, and the dragon battle cutscene at the end was pretty cool. I like how it does little things that no RPGs have done before, like mind-reading NPCs for hidden quest info or to get merchants to drop prices, or giving severed monster parts (with various attributes) to a necromancer to design a summonable creature to fight with you. Sure, the game probably won’t be winning any awards, but it’s still pretty fun if you’re looking for a good, solid RPG fix. The demo definitely won me over and I’m even more excited about getting the full version now!

    game’s garbage. SKIP! NEXT!

  • MACPH1ST0

    And I just said it’s NOT. :p

  • Anonymous

game sucks. pure trash. i would rather watch Final Fantasy XIII streams on Justin TV even if it is in Japanese

  • Anonymous

sorry man, but you like shitty ass games. no taste in good RPGs

  • MACPH1ST0

If you don’t like it, that’s fine, but most hardcore RPG fans (none of these bandwagon jumpers getting Dragon Age just because everyone else is) will, ’nuff said.

  • Anonymous

Dragon Age was crap. all it is is a dungeon crawler. no replayability whatsoever. ppl got it cuz its Bioware. the last great RPG was Tales of Vesperia. the Xbox 360 has been dry since
