Marketplace, Xbox 360 Games On Demand By Larry Hryb, Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson

  • BMW530XD

    Why is the price triple?
These old games should have a lesser price, it doesnt even have a cover and a dvd. so the cost of making this should be nada.

  • nutznboltz2003

They are coming up $19.99 for me, which I think is very reasonable.

  • MeridusBeta

I don’t see why we even need to bother to check pricing. In the UK every single game released has been £20.

So thanks, but no thanks. I’ll just pop to the shops and buy a brand new sealed copy of Devil May Cry 4 for a fiver.

  • BMW530XD

well its £30 here in Norway.
so I dont think its reasonable.

  • Fufz

    30€ = 42USD for a classic game without box/manual/cover?

    what a rippoff ahaha.

  • IxI unglued IxI

@ major nelson : why is there no mention of TESTDRIVE UNLIMITED. I saw it on games on demand yesterday, not sure when it was put up. i just believe it deserves mention, as it is a great game. I have had the game for over three years now and still play it,as do many of my friends. If any of you like free roam driving games you should pick it up,only $19.99.

  • MyJewlzHurt

Test Drive Unlimited is $39.99 on the Xbox Live Marketplace in Canada, why that expensive is beyond me as the currency exchange rate is at .9419 so it should be more like $22.00 CDN….RIPOFF………Time to wake up Microsoft, there is a whole world outside the USA

  • MisterBigMack

always wanted to get into DMC4 but if I bought it, i’d want the box, manuals and disk – just the way I am

  • StammyFi

Devil May Cry 4 GoD: 30 euros

Devil May Cry 4 and free delivery: 9,5 euros http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/3337604/Devil-May-Cry-4/Product.html

Are you on vacation or something, Major? In regards to this “Deal of the Day” program that is going on: Stargate: Continuum for rent!? I really hope this is the worst offer from this program…

  • theuglyteradon

Honestly, instead of this deal, I would like access to this Rock Band music store that is on your list. It’s just sort of underwhelming… I know complaining for these sorts of this is rather played out and I feel that XBL has evolved based on the users responses. Saying that I think these deals should occur more often because they are still exciting for deal shoppers or anybody with spare points. I was just hoping for more arcade games this time.

  • trickybuz93

I also saw Ghostbusters: Video game for $49.99 here in Canada which I don’t think is too bad a price considering it’s a fairly new game.

  • IxI unglued IxI

@theuglyteradon: on Major Nelsons twitter, it says the game music store will be on our dashboards later today.

  • theuglyteradon

@IxI unglued IxI: Awesome! I’m excited to check this out, thanks for the response.

  • MeridusBeta

@theuglyteradon: I’ll swap you your Stargate Continuum for our Killer Klowns in Space any day.

Really not sure why these “daily deals” are the only ones that have to be different in every region.

  • theuglyteradon

@MeridusBeta: Really, I’ll just be happy once they offer a price cut on Castlevania so my roommate can finally download it.

  • IxI unglued IxI

@theuglyteradon: No problem, I’d like to think we would help each other out when ever possible, And even more so at this time of year. Happy Holidays

  • Surly x Duff

Dunno about these two GoD offerings. Aren’t they available bundled in a Triple Pack at retail along with Dead Rising for $35-$40 new? I understand not wanting to undercut retail, but $10-$15 a piece would be more in line with what retail is offering. As it stands, I have no incentive as a consumer to forego the actual disc-based games. Unless the added content of the Lost Planet: Colonies Edition is somehow worth it?

  • SilentHunter382

Devil May Cry 4 never appeared on xbox live here in Ireland.

  • BMF Irish ace

thanks but no thanks €29.99 ur joking can get it in town for €9.99

  • JoJoStarFire

I have both of them on Hard Cover, Like them both and passed them both. Now I need to pass them in the harder levels.

  • UKresistance

Just too pricey, especially when Capcom has a reasonably priced triple pack including DMC4, Lost plantet, and Dead rising.
