I cannot download this, it keeps coming up with an error. 80070570

  • Boe2

I can’t believe “0 DAY ATTACK ON EARTH” escaped my attention all this time. It looks pretty slick, and the online multiplayer is a nice bonus too. Giving it a try tonight :)

  • Assassin2k

I cannot download this from the UK marketplace keeps going to 1% then saying cannot complete download try again later

  • Wiiking

    Getting the same as Assassin2k

  • Assassin2k

yay got it to work, 0 day attack on earth is a great game and is worth the 1200 points

  • Exu

The extra 400 points is Square Enix tax.

  • SumHydroponic

    No me no want this.

  • MACPH1ST0

Boy, the Japanese sure love their shmups, don’t they?

  • Z4M0

Actually concerning to this game the Square tax is the extra 800 points… Assault heroes is way better than this and is just 400 points. I found the demo very uninteresting and insanely overpriced (hardly worths 800) despite I waited long for this to be released.

On the bright side this made Polar Panic and the Capcom vs Marvel 2 more noticeable purchases.

  • Karachi King

@Z4M0: Assault Heroes was 800 points when it came out. It was reduced to 400 later on when it was added to the Arcade Hits lineup.

  • Boe2

Wow, tried the demo. I expected an amusable shmup, I got something….very disappointing.
It’s no real shmup and it has no entertainment value at all either :/

  • Ai Kago

Yeah that 0 DAY ATTACK ON EARTH is utter garbage, dunno why I even bothered.

  • Exu

MS, just whack Triggerheart Exelica on DotW (or better yet, Arcade Hits). Far better game yet cruelly overlooked.

  • VIGOR MORTIVORE

Very considerate, Major, pushing out a game that resembles 911 around christmas. not even close but tasteless nonetheless.

  • Exu

Oh god I just tried it, noe that it actually downloads. Not sure what’s worse, that someone thought it was worth 1200 or that someone agreed. What a pile of crap!
Now, perhaps this would be fun online. Perhaps. But by pricing itself out of a sensible range, and being of low quality, it looks like many of us will never know!

@Skychat – Personally I find it bears no resembance to 9/11, although the using real-world backgrounds does mean they couldn’t be bothered to hire a level developer.

  • KazamaSogetsu

0 Earth looked fun on videos. I’m glad we can test before buying.

  • stststststq

I’ve got to agree with some of the posters above about 0 Day Attack On Earth. It’s terrible. I don’t think I’d have even been tempted at 400 points. Polar Panic’s pretty good, but I’ve bought too many games and pieces of DLC recently to spend 800 points on it. If it was 400 I’d have grabbed it.

  • Z4M0

    @ Karachi King:
It isn’t a secret that Assault heroes is under the “arcade hits” lavel hence its actual price but still it’s worth 800 then and now :) 0 Day Attack on eart wouldn’t be a reasonable buy at even 400 points release price. Truth to be said, it’s hard not to find a top-down dual stick shooter wich is funnier, cheaper or both than 0 DAOE

Aside from that, wich really flips my wig is the insane policy on prices of some developers. You have to have a hella good game in your hands or you better offer it at a temptative price. They got none of those premises plus the fact already existing top notch arcades (shadow complex, monkey island…) are getting their prices reduced to the half and everyone included we the users knew it beforehand this lousy release. If life was an RPG they just had a nice critical error here. Good luck next time you roll dices square/enix (and whoever the developer was).

    Merry Xmas to all,etc.
