Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment (1200 points) and Death by Cube (800) will be available this Wednesday on Xbox LIVE Arcade.

    Was looking forward to vandal hearts but have read up on recent previews of it and its looking dissapointing, they were originally making a full remake and copped out instead with a straight port of the original game.

    Supposed to be incredibly basic playing and very clunky.

    I was really looking forward to this but looks like they botched it. I guess the original was a fluke because even the sequel wasn’t very good. So is this the original re-skinned or is it a prequel like they reported earlier?

    Sonic Adventure XBL preview, also a total cop out – its a straight port with nothing added/no graphical improvments, horrible framerates and really bad draw distance issues – ends up playing worse than the original DC version.

    Vandal Hearts is a prequel, not a remake. Most the previews I’ve seen have said good things about the gameplay.

    Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment is good news. I LOVE srpg’s, but thus far the 360 is horribly lacking in that department (I bought a ps3 just to play disgaea 3).

    There aren’t any reviews yet (only some VERY old impressions, to those complaining about “bad recent reviews”: Stop lying), so we’ll have to play the demo to find out if it’s worth the 1200 (eek) points. I just hope they didn’t dumb it down too much. SRPG’s are supposed to be challenging :)

    Strategy RPG eh? Might get it, bit pricey though. 400 pts cheaper would make it a sure purchase as per usual.

    Having issues download vandal hearts it gets to 99% then stops

    I’m having the same problem as bknight2k. I get error code 80073302.

    Yep. I got that problem too – gets to 99% and dies. So close and yet so far.

    Me too – 99% then failure, code 80073302 :( I’m sure someone is busy trying to fix this… Please, someone be busy fixing this!

    It seems like there is something wrong with the linking. It downloads the 593,65 MB, but when it gets to 99 Percent it stops with the error message. When I went to my storage device the folder with the broken download is named “Death by Cube”.

    Got it. I went into the hard drive memory, deleted the “Unknown Game,” pressed Y on the Hard Drive to bring up the maintenance menu, cleared the cache, and downloaded again. Not sure if that’s what did the trick, or if the problem cleared up on its own, but either way, I’m playing now. :)
