Hmmmm… Pure for $20 is pretty tempting. It’s priced right and I’ve always regretted not picking it up.

  • amacvane

Couldn’t agree more, Mcmac3000. I am by no means a racing-genre fan, but damn did that demo strike a chord with me. I’ll definitely be buying this once I come up with the space on my HDD.

  • swyzak

    Thats pretty sweet!

  • MaSTeRsans

$20 nice, £20 BullS**t, I picked up Resident Evil yesterday for £5 at my local game shop, UK xbl prices are a joke, and you wonder why the market aint as big over here…

  • xXNapsterManXx

Me Wants ME Star Wars: Kights of The Old Republic in Games on Demand i would buy that easy no questions asked its the best game ive ever played and thats saying ALOT.

  • xXNapsterManXx

Also MaSTeRsans ur right im in Australia and the Games on Demand Prices are insane i could get it from EB games (Rip of Merchants) cheaper. and EB games are selling MW2 used for 100$ and AC2 brand new for 120$ my mate went into EB games yesterday and they had FIFA 10 for 80$ and the new one is coming out in 2 months.

You do know that Pure is selling as a double pack with Lego Batman for £3 in the UK don’t you?

  • Das Boba

I like how it seems these games are released so often, but there’s no way for those of us w/20g hard drives to buy them. I’ve been looking for a 120g hard drive for a month and can’t find one anywhere. You can’t even buy one at Amazon, because half of the resellers are riddled with knock-off third party hd’s, which I’d love to take advantage of, but fear the banhammer. When is Microsoft going to release the 250gb stand alone, or at least resupply retailers with 120s. I’m begging to give you money, but you just don’t seem to want to take it.

  • Quicksilver4648

Pure is $20 and Resident Evil 5 is $30. I actually kinda laugh at the Pure price, because I paid $20 on Amazon to buy it about 2-3 months after it released in a Black Friday/Pre-Christmas.

Why buy these overpriced download games when you can get them cheaper at a store factory sealed. when thats said, its 2 awesome games.. but of course i already bought them both long time ago on discs. :)
So far i only bought 1 download retail game.. Burnout 5 on PSN including every damn DLC for only 25 euro or so. the deal lasts until march or so :) The DLC alone costs way more than it all together. Og.. It have 98 trophies ;) I already own retail 360 version on disc.

Sorry but for gods sake do something about this absolute stupid pricing.
STOP making them the same price…PURE AND Lego Batman is on average £6.99 for BOTH in many , many stores at the moment here in the UK, I have it right here now on my desk.

And please Dont quote all the rubbish about digital download, NOBODY in there right mind will pay £20 for this game when they can go and get 2 cracking games for, well not even close to this rediculous price.

Major, come on this really does prove 100% that Microsoft have absolutely no finger on the pulse of what gamers are doing today, clearly any kind of communication with your European friends would show you this pricing structure, and maybe just maybe you would wake up into the real world, this game alone should be no more than £10, and even that is giving you the benefit of the doubt, on the digital argument.

I can’t tell you how much I want to embrace these digital downloads, but I’m sorry never in a million years will I even look at them….£19.99 for this 1 game, compared to £6.99 retail , oh and I mean NEW sealed, and with Lego Batman, yea right.

This really needs looking into, your making yourselfs look very foolish, come on Microsoft, I know you never change pricing structure, but WOW this is a cock up of massive proportions.

  • Mcmax3000

Hate to throw this novel little concept out there but…

If you can find it cheaper somewhere else, why not buy it there?

For me personally, buying it for $20 on XBL is cheaper then buying it in a store. If it’s cheaper for you to buy in the store, buy it in the store.

On another note though, for anybody that likes Pure, I highly recommend taking a look at Split/Second which is from the same dev team when it comes out in May. I got to try it at PAX & it’s extremely fun.

  • IMLabman

Hmmm, I may have to check out Pure. Anybody played it? Thoughts?

Major, is there any chance that the original Left 4 Dead will ever come out on games on demand? I want L4D! :)

  • Jonah Falcon

I’m looking forward to Blur, myself.

  • DavidGX

Not cheaper than retail = too expensive. Another in a long line of failures.
