The Xbox LIVE Block / House Party promotion rolls on with the release Perfect Dark which will be available this Wednesday on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 points.

    @Mcmax3000 I was terrible at it back in the day playing with my friends. I never had the practice with it they did, and the controls…man. But it was still fun as hell, I can only imagine it’s gotten better with decent controls. It’ll be well worth it

    @Mr FuZzYbOtToMz I really hope it comes out before then. I’ve never actually tried to find out WHEN they pop up on the marketplcae. I only know I stayed up one time till about 4am, nothing to do that day, and it never popped up.

    Will probably pick this up after work tomorrow.

    Was keeping the points with the thought of the MW2 Map Pack but Im not going near them for that price.

    The game will have two unlockable Avatar awards apparently, one for getting a headshot kill, the other for completing one of the bonus levels.

    No idea what the items actually are though.

    Sigh… anyone else recall those days when we actually got new XBLA releases that were actually requested by the community? Back when XBLA was under a different lead and notable games weren’t so few and far between?

    Needless to say, this brings back memories of those days, as well as the old glory split-screen days of the N64. I’ll be downloading this first thing tomorrow and I’m looking forward to taking a break from FFXIII to play with some of you folks.

    Conkers Bad Fur Day would be awesome, specially if they can make the original multiplayer with all those different games online.
    I was gutted they totally changed the multi from the N64 original which had a couple of awesome multi games like beach to the cack which was the Xbox multiplayer and nothing like the N64 one.

    Wow, never played this before but you all seem to think it’s really good. I’ve just queued up the demo for download. I was saving my points ready for the MW2 map pack, but as Activision are trying to rip-off everybody with their ridiculous 1200 price tag, I may just purchase this in stead. I’ve had it with MW2 now, need something new to play.

    Didn’t play the original so there is no nostalgia to encourage me to purchase like other people. I might download the demo to see what all the fuss is about but I’ll most likely pass on this. I’ve been too spoilt by more modern FPS’s
