    I know a lot of people are pooping on Game Room, but I’m kinda excited for it. I’m not going to buy tons of games, but definitely a few. I remember playing Pitfall as a kid. I can’t wait to play it with that rewind feature. Maybe I’ll finally beat the game.

    Is it even possible to beat Pitfall??

    Major, two questions:
    -Is it possible to download older shows from iTunes (only the last 12 or so appear)?

    -Is there some webpage with the specific details about the pricing and use of Game Room?

    I wasn’t really excited about the Game Room, but after listening to the interview, it sounds interesting. I’m not to happy about the prices, so I might only get games that I truly want.

    I’ll definitely dig the Game Room and all the cool features. However, as much as I love Scramble, I don’t think I’ll be re-buying stuff I already bought on Arcade. I know my friends and I will definitely have a field day with it.

    The podcast this week was very enjoyable – Frank did a good job selling Game Room.

    The Gameroom pricing was sort of rushed over and could do with some clarification. Did you say that in order to play a ROM on both PC and Xbox you have to buy it twice (albeit with a slight discount the second time)? Because that would be daylight robbery.

    On the other hand I did hear the phrase ‘buy once, play anywhere’, so maybe I have misunderstood and you aren’t asking us to pay multiple times for the same thing.

    Was it the gameroom client which we have to buy twice? I can understand buying one emulator for the 360 and one for the PC, both of which can run the same ROM file which you just have to buy once.

    And can you clarify the pricing of the ROMs themselves? I originally thought that this was just going to be for Arcade machines, but several systems were mentioned in the interview, ranging from the Atari 2600 to later consoles and including early arcade games. I would suggest that a 2600 game is worth much less than an Arcade game. And if more modern consoles ever get added, I think I would probably be prepared to pay more for Shenmue on Dreamcast than Combat on the 2600! Is there a different price for each system, similar to the Virtual Console on Wii?

    Great show as always. Really looking forward Game Room ever since it was announced. Is there a list of the full 90 games anywhere that have been complete?. I know 30 of them will be available at launch, but it would be great to know what the other 60 games are that will be available over the coming months.

    interesting that the link to gameroom says its only for 2 players…? does that mean that there can only be 2 payers using the same arcade game (for 2 player games) or you can only have 2 people in your gameroom at one time? i kinda assumed you could have heaps of your friends all walking around your gameroom all playing different games…?

    How easy is it to make the podcast an enhanced podcast? Sometimes I want to skip through some of the interviews.

    Soda stream?! I thought these died out in the early eighties. It sounds really weird hearing modern day Americans talk about a device that most Brits associate with growing up in the eighties. You’ll be replacing your Xboxs with ZX Spectrums next :)
