    With the Deal of the Week last week, the April special, and some good arcade titles in March I’ve currently exhausted a near 5000 MSP reserve. Good Job! I’ll be picking this up later in the week once I have another points card. Admittedly like some other people who have already posted here, I simply hadn’t purchased it because I was _horrible_ at the first. Even if this is more of the same shame for me at least it only cost me what it would have to really try out any game in an Arcade years ago.

    Done and done! This past week and now this week have been chock full of deals! Rocket Riot is an absolute blast at 400MSP, and now Geometry Wars 2 for the same price?! That’s a steal. I’m really happy I waited on GW2 (Since I was/am still hacking away at the first one).

    Anyone who doesn’t jump on this band wagon while they can needs to get a boot to the buttocks.

    Major Nelson: The automatic subsciption service when you buy gold over the 360 or xbox.com needs to be fixed, badly. Having to call support to remove automatic renewal isn’t acceptable, what’s even worse is the fact that I can’t delete the credit card from my account until my account reverts to Silver. You’re probably losing a sh*t-ton of sales this way because most people simply don’t want automatic renewal and not having the ability to remove a credit card, not even the option to disable it on the Live Marketplace.

    A little bit more on topic: GeoWars 2 was quite a dissapointment for me, it just doesn’t feel as tight, controlled and skillbased as the first one – the geoms destroy everything imho.

    As many other said, I’m on the fence with GW2 since I also sucked at 1st… I love the retro evolved look and sure it has multiplayer but still those are hella challenging.
    .
    For those holding to purchase bionic comando rearmed or panzer general I’ll personally tell em that I own both and those were priced just right. 800 points each and worth every point you spend on them, if you have someone to play against, PG will be a breathtaking strategical experience.

    Oh so you’re actually posting about the deal this week then?
    But I digress. Geometry Wars 2 is ace and you should buy it if you already haven’t. I could understand why people may not have bought it first time around, it was double the price of the first one and so on, but now there’s no excuse not to own this.
    (Plus, I think in some places not having the game is illegal.)

    I barely played the first Geometry Wars, but i still bought the 2nd at this low price.

    I just love when people bitch about every deal of the week. You can’t expect them to put new games on sale for obvious reasons. And as its been stated before, a lot of people missed out on this. I purchased it on the first day but that was me. I’m against avatar gear going on sale but I just won’t buy it if I don’t like it.

    Ehm… I suck at the first one too, but this game is simple and makes a lot of fun! I’m playing it everytime I download sth from the marketplace.

    @skullivan: BC:Rearmed was alread deal of the week (or sth like that, I don’t exactly remember).

    This one is much better than the first one, so if you don’t already have it, you’d be a fool to pass up this deal! And if you suck at the first one, the learning curve is a little more forgiving on this one. Also the variety of the game modes offers a lot of different ways to play the games, and the achievements add extra challenge to the game that you wouldn’t otherwise get, unlike the boring achievements in the first one.
