I thought we (Australia) already had Fallout 3.

  • Mcmax3000

I’m glad I grabbed Fable II on disc for $20 when it was on sale up here. Don’t really want to pay $35 for it on GoD.

  • Exu

Guess the episodic approach to Fable 2 didn’t go so well then. One of the problems with it, and GoD in general, is still the pricing.
£20 for Fable 2 and Fallout 3 sans DLC is simply too much money to ask for now.
You can get the Classics of Fable 2 GOTY for £9.98 brand new from GAME, and for a time the GOTY of Fallout 3 floated around £15 preowned to £17 new.
Shave a bit off the prices and include all available DLC with Games on Demand to add a bit more value and it might just become a viable service.

  • A Place for Us

Just got Fable II (Best Sellers – Classics) GOTY edition for about £10 here in the UK, which also includes the two DLC pieces. That was worth it but £20 certainly isn’t. :(

  • Codename6

Buy Fallout3 used for $17.99 at Gamestop.

  • Perixon

Fable II is 349 SEK in Sweden, which translates to $48.55 USD/€36.07. That sounds a bit steep to me. How much is it the US?

  • My Big Boss

I’m happy now.. that i can play Fallout 3 without CD. + i got all the DLC..

  • Pemalite

Ugh… They can shove those prices right up where the sun doesn’t shine! $100 AU for fallout 3? Pass! – Especially considering it’s almost 2 years old now!

  • metallicorphan

these need to be GOTY editions

  • BHZ anakinjmt

That’s kinda weird how it says Fallout 3 is only available in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, yet when I go to check the price, it’s listed at $29.99. Unless we already had it on demand? Either way, that’s still too expensive. It’s almost always cheaper to go to Gamestop, Play-N-Trade, or another used game store.

  • Xssassin

I’m sure I’ve seen these on GOD for ages! Maybe they appeared early for UK users.
Still poor prices though. Drop the price by 50% then maybe I’ll be interested if I don’t already have the game.

When are we going to get some Deal of the Week for GOD?

  • Veive257

Fallout3 without the need to get off the couch? Awesome!

    Bioware contest today!! http://social.bioware.com/brc/1688078

  • ericknirvana

god dammit i thought it said Fable II and Fable 3

  • Lime Balthazar

“Guess the episodic approach to Fable 2 didn’t go so well then. One of the problems with it, and GoD in general, is still the pricing.”

Molyneux said otherwise recently. Personally, I just imagine that having more options for people to buy things is good for them. It’s not like MS charges itself fees to put their own products up :)

Anyone know what’s going on with XBLA tomorrow?

  • Voltanis

Just curious if the GoD version of Fable II contains the DLC of the retail version available right now.

  • BHZ anakinjmt

@Voltanis That would make sense to do that. Which means, of course, that it does not. I’m guessing the answer is no, because Microsoft wants all the money they can get from us.

  • RuairiAU

    Fallout 3 – $100AU!!!
What are you chaps smoking? Im sick to death of getting ripped off in this bloody country.

  • MACPH1ST0

Yeah BHZ, Fallout 3 has been available in GoD for the US for about a month already. But why is it $30 and Fable II is $20? For $30, they should have at least included one of the 5 DLC packs with it.

  • BURIBLAZING X

the prices are still to high.

  • BURIBLAZING X

    cool

  • Xlrking

The large prices are really not appealing to me still.

  • I DLord I

Idea is cool. Pricing is not. Pass… just like every GoD ever. I don’t think I have found a single GoD worth buying at the listed GoD price.
