    I tried the demo. The demo is funny. When the demo ends, it gives you only one option. To buy the game. In order to get back to the dashboard or title screen, you need to reset your xbox or use the guide button. Okay, okay, I’ll buy the game! Just don’t hurt me, Guy!!!

    With this and Afterburner Climax next week, I’d say Microsoft is back on track with the A+ XBLA releases. Looking forward to downloading this one later.

    Unlockables are a great adition but at first the constant flow of info distracted me causing a cloacked knife guy to hit me at the start in Magic Sword and thus, preventing me from unlock some stuff, lol.

    Would have been great to include an unlockable premium theme with it or avatar stuff but I guess big publishers like capcom won’t ever do.

    Besides (offtopic) anyone knows how to restore lost data on the xbox 360 ? somehow I got all my savegames erased. That’s what you get when you let others mess with your xbox :P

    I wish they had separate releases. I’d gladly pay $5 for FF. I have no desire to play the other game. :(

    I’m glad it has GGPO, now we can have lag free or the illusion of lag free co-op online! That’s already better than Streets of Rage 2.

    @PiaCarrot jawp If they listened to their fans they would have re-released Power Stone a whole year ealier on XBLA.

    The demo let’s you go back to the main screen after playing, you just have to wait a long time for it to give you the option. Like “enough time for your cereal to get soggy” time but it happens.

    OT: X360 IT: You wish! Perhaps it if was so easy, we could fix our own games that companies like EPIC never see the need to fix. That’s two utterly broken Gears of War games in a row, progressively getting worse, and three times will so not be the charm.

    I laughed when I read Cliffy’s comment on 4 player CO-OP. The client on Gears2 campaign lags noticeably since day one on anything lesser than a 10mbit connection, even on 2-player coop, especially in the squid flying sections. 4-player coop is impossible for the lazy sloths at Epic. Buahaha.

    I like that arcade cabinet view with the CRT TV perspective, more classic arcade games on XBLA should have that. It looks much nicer than just stretching the image to fullscreen with a pixel-smoothing filter.

    final fight double impact is a great arcade package. The Unlocks are amazing…you can get comics,artworks and more. Capcom did a great job. its definitely worth 800 points. Now i am waiting for Sonic 4

    Actually I think who did well was proper games, capcom is just the owner of the IP and distributor for this.

    The most funny thing is that this is how I think game room should have been.

    Still got the feeling that we are getting way too used to high prices and things priced correctly outstand as great deals when they would be considered just fair deals. Games this big should get real HD treatment (check toki hd) or at least few freebies like premium themes or avatar awards. I’m not sure yet but I think this doesn’t unlock even gamerpics wich is cheap cause other arcades do even on its trial version.
    .
    All in all this one (may I say two?) is a nice pick despite its brief campaign (about an hour or less to beat each game)

    This is definitely a game worth it’s price. I love the cabinet view and putting the graphics on phosphor mode. And the remixed music is also well done. My only small complaint is about the trial only…that nag screen is obnoxious. You don’t want to annoy the people who are your potential customers.

    How come this doesnt say you get Magic Sword as well? Its a great package, miles better than thet virtual arcade tat.

    I am still on the fence about buying it. I loved playing Final fight on the SNES. I would have bought it straight away if capcom had added 3 player co-op.

    It comes with Magic Sword! As soon as I found that out it became a better value and a purchase. The whole package is done really nice. This isn’t for everyone, but old-school gamers probably get a kick out of it.

    Color me impressed. I didn’t even tried the demo. I just wanted these games even if these were just quick port. But whoa! Capcom did an awesome (and reverent!) job on these two arcade classics.
    Highly recommended.
