Look for Puzzle Chronicles and Afterburner Climax for 800 points each on Xbox LIVE Arcade this Wednesday.
Arcade By Larry Hryb, Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson
Can’t wait for Afterburner, I’m climaxing already from it’s sheer awesomeness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMsVBTHMK-M
Both pages are showing a price of $800. Yes, dollars. Too expensive for my taste.
I can’t wait for Afterburner. i thought it was out next week so I’m super pleased. I think I may climax too.
When I first saw the trailer it was going to be a day one buy for me.
Can’t really say I care for another puzzle game.
But After Burner Climax? the long lost Arcade we waited for years in a retail version which never arrived? (thanks, SEGA. /sarcasm)
Now as a 800 points XBLA? honestly, if someone doesn’t buy it, he’s crazy.
At least try the demo.
The spring is causing people and animals alike to climax all over the place as it is, now Sega REMINDS us of it.
I heart me some $10 games may pick one of these up
Had a brain fart at first when i saw puzzle chronicles i was like “hell yeah !!!!” then i realized it was puzzle chronicles not the upcoming new puzzle quest game … i wish that was coming out i would jump all over it
IMHO It’d be awesome if they released AB Climax along with Space Harrier for 800 points ala final fight double impact, after all sega’s can share the same engine.
no multiplayer for Afterburner Climax??
Definetly got to try Afterburner. Wasn’t really a fan of the series but I do like classic SEGA arcade games getting revamped.
Hell yes, a plane that’s allowed to fly!
Ermm… I never played the original Afterburner:Climax, but did it have multiplayer? Because I see no online MP enabled in the description page. For those that have played it, is that an oversight or?
Afterburner Climax is so awesome that it even made an Icelandic volcano climax!
I DLord I, it’s the first time the game comes to consoles, but it’s a direct Arcade porting.
What this means is – no multiplayer.
We hoped until the last minute that they would release it as a retail $50 game with multiplayer and lots of extras.
But this is still a must-buy, it’s arcade perfect if not better and, well, it’s 800 points…
Afterburner Climax need multiplayer!!!! I play this game on my PSP with my friends and it’s awsome..
While After Burner Climax in the arcades supported two players over LAN between two Lindbergh machines it appears it’s been dropped for a home console port. It’s a bit sad, I’d have enjoyed ABC over SystemLink or Xbox Live. It’s a shame that Outrun Online Arcade also dropped SystemLink support. But quite frankly, this is a fairly modern arcade game that isn’t a fighting game that is getting ported and when it cost $1-$2 per play in the arcades I’d say $10 for the whole game at home is the right price.
