This weeks Xbox LIVE Gold Member deal of the week is three deals we’re calling MOVIE MANIA.  The following movie related games and content are 50% off this week only: Prince of Persia Classic is 400 points, Transformers 2 Character and Map Pack Plus is 400 points and Watchmen: The End is Nigh for 800 points.

    Prince of Persia Classic is a steal at 400. Wish that I would have waited for that game to come down in price.

    Agree that Prince of Persia is a good deal. Shame its already in the bag.

    Other two don’t sound that exciting.

    PoP Classic should be an Arcade Hit by now, it’s been out for ages and having been given away in promos for both PoP 2008 and PoP TFS. Regardless, if you don’t have it then it is definitely worth the 400.

    As for the other deals? No thanks, both terrible games.

    Oh God, the fact that they think that Watchmen game is a ‘deal’ at $10 is hilarious.

    Deals on the 7th and 14th look great! Will get Worms and Trials as I have been holding out on both of them. Already have the repeats though. Not interested in this week’s deals.

    Funny, I was just looking to buy Prince of Persia Classic the other day. 400 Points is a major steal, anyone that doesn’t have it already should pick it up.

    But I don’t like Watchmen, or Prince of Persia classic, or Transformers. I want deals nd new ames that feature little girls with big guns but Microsoft cerainly can’t plase everyone, or atleast even attempt to.

    Congrats in first place: it seems every month we get a multiple title deal (avatar games last week or the spring sale to mention the few we got so far) so wouldn’t complain even if the articles offered ain’t my cup of tea.

    Prince of Persia is a steal… loved the original, might give it a try at this price.

    Watchmen, despite a good brawling game (batman arkham asylum combat reminded me of Watchmen’s) is not a deal in any aspect. Watchmen is a game split in two parts and the are just discountin 33% on half of the content. People should remember it’s also on disc before considering purchase.

    Besides, Trials HD at 580 really? we got it at 800 about two weeks ago or so and now it get discounted again and 50% instead of just 33% ? it happening sounds obscure to me… microsoft could piss off some recent customers if they really do so (my two cents).

    About Trial HD I’ve never seen it on DoTW. Maybe it was for some region only?

    Does this Prince of Persia Classic have the same level design as the 1989 original? If so, then I think I’ll pass on this deal of the week, as I have a copy of the original game buried away somewhere that I never got round to playing. I can live without the tarted-up graphics of the 360 version.
