This game is truly a departure from the average first person game. If someone hasn’t played this game, you at least have to try it out. It really is inventive!

  • DeviseUSA

Was thinking of buying this today from my local retailer for AUD $20. Sure beats the joke Game Of Demand pricing of AUD$79.95 Australian (US$70)!!!! Seriously, do you care about your marketplace? Show some pride in your service and price your content reasonably! Why have such a terrific service and dramatically overcharge for it?

  • shane86

I bought this for less than 20% of this price on steam a few days ago. Good game nonetheless.

  • metallicorphan

this was £2.99 from GAME a few months ago….i paid for it,hated it..traded it at HMV for £5.00 :p

  • Drunk Ste

£15 for a digital copy of a game I got new for £7 a year ago. You can get it new online for £5-£6 from Game, Gameplay, Gamestation, Play and Zavvi.

While we’re on the subject of both Mirror’s Edge and things that cost more than they should, you know that Downloadable Content? Witht he funny shapes in the sky?
Yeah, that’s been free on PSN for quite sometime. As in, the full pack. Been free for ages, in fact.

Why is this? Sort it out.

I have it already on disc. I’m not the kind of person that buys GoD of games I lready have.

    AUD $79.95 = Fail.
I understand that the thinking behind this is to try to closely match local store retail prices, but us gamers dont buy our games from EB games, Game or Game Traders; thats why these companies are verging on bankruptsy here. Most smart shoppers buy games much cheaper at KMart or, better still, order online. Most new games can be bought in Australia for about AUD$60-$70 if you know where to look. CDWOW (Australian online store) is doing Mirrors edge right now for $14.41 with free postage.

Would have been a good price if I didn’t pick up the retail 360 version for $10 a while back… and if I didn’t get the version on Steam for $5.

  • Toothball

I’m the only person I know who bought this for full price at launch. All of my friends paid like £5 for it later. I regret nothing though, as it was an excellent game.
