Make your own Fable III Villager

The Fable III Village Maker launched today in the US and UK.  For the first time, you can create your own Fable Villager that will appear in the game. Here is how it works: Head over to www.xbox.com/fable3 and start creating your own villager. Answer a few questions and choose their look and you’re ready to go.  Anyone can design a villager and share it, but if you pre-order the game at participating retailers* you’ll get a code you can redeem to actually import that villager into Fable III when it launches later this year.

    i am signed in,it just wont let me put in my D.O.B(why it needs this if i am signed in i have no idea)…and underneath that it says ‘come back soon to design a custom character for the game’

    That’s really cool. I’m curious though, can you do this with multiple characters, or just one? I’m assuming only one, since you get a quest from the character?

    So, if you are outside US or UK, you don´t get s**t, nice going….
    But even better, you can create your own villager, but to actually get YOUR OWN CREATION, you need to pre-order the fricking game.
    Priceless…..just priceless.
    You must really like hate, because that the must common feeling when it comes to Microsoft.
    Oh yeah, and pathetic little company too.

    How the Xbox still sells outside the US is one gigantic mystery….

    Seems like you are the one full of hate… it’s not like you’re being forced to buy the game, or indeed the console. You have choices all the time. And I really wouldn’t call Microsoft ‘little’…

    As for Fable III, it still offers nothing much above Fable II, but as a fan I will be buying it… after waiting a few months and snapping it up half price.

    WORK AROUND FOR ANYONE NOT LIVING IN THE US.

    Where it says /en-GB/ in the address bar(using Great Britain as an example, change to your country) change it so it says /en-US/ and press enter and it will work. Not sure if you can save it and you won’t be able to pre-order it but there you go.

    If i can be blame on something is that i care, that´s why i can´t stand their ideas anymore.
    I bougth a 360 back in 2007, and i loved it.
    Since 2008 that i see the Xbox falling in quality and interest in changing that, since then, they don´t give a rat´s ass about anyone outside the US, all they do is give things to the US market and the middle finger to everyone else, more importantly, i find they don´t even care for the US, they only care about the money.
    People everywhere (outside the US) pay the same for Live, but only get 50%, if that´s not ridiculous and a steal i don´t know what is, people are being robbed by Microsoft.
    If they only cared…..but they clearly don´t, this all crap just proves that.
    You saw that on E3, the all ESPN crap for the US, and, once again, a big FU and thanks for your money for everyone else.
    And things will not change.

    That´s the point, i want to see the XBox return to form, i want to love the Xbox again….that´s why i can´t stand all ths pathetic little decisions.
    The day Peter Moore left Microsoft, was the day the Xbox died…..sad, but true

    I been pretty reluctant in pre-ordering this game. I loved the first one but the second one was a complete disappointment when it came to the 5 hour campaign. Any chance we have any news on the campaign?

    I have never really like the look of the characters in this game, plus the villager maker doesnt work as it keeps asking me to sign in even though I am. Not a good start :P

    I live in the UK and I’m a Fable fan but to be honest this is to make a villager not your main character, so to be honest it’s nice but you guys who can’t use it are not missing much, it’s all about the game at the end of the day and everyone will get the same content in the final game release.

    @AndyW360: Except for the designed villager, his or her exclusive quest (and reward for said quest).
    I may be bitter since I got the CE edition of Fable II without the bonus content and I am about to miss some content again.

    I refuse to pre-order anything. No company deserves to hold on to my money to collect interest on it while trying to make you feel like there will be a shortage. Sorry, but you people that pre-order are suckers.

    I love the consistent moaning and whining on here. Anyone that can get it moans about it, either that it’s no good or that they don’t want to pre-order. Anyone that can’t get it is moaning that they can’t get it. Others are even moaning about things that have nothing to do with Fable. LOL. It’s a good job that there are lots of gamers out there that enjoy things like this, because if the people here represented the entire gaming market, MS might as well not bother working on things like this.

    Yeah, I must be absolutely terrified of a bunch of spoiled teenagers with entitlement issues! LOL. MS need to sort out some proper regional blogs with decent URLs, cos only a small percentage of 360 owners know about majornelson.com and it only attracts the serial whiners these days. Look at Sony’s blog for comparison and a post where they say they’re releasing a new firmware to replace the one that was bricking consoles (something that they initially denied) gets 4.5 stars out of 5. Imagine the WHINING if something like that happened over here. Hahaha. Even if MS gave away a free arcade game, the whining kids on here would still be complaining that it’s not the game they want. LOL.

    pssh ms needs to give people outside the us the same things since they charge the same amount … either that or don’t charge the same amount but they care about those people less then they care about us costumers and that’s not alot …. ps3 is so starting to look good … i can play halo and fable with out paying for the farce of xbox “gold”

    @uzivatel : I still don’t think your going to miss much, I doubt the quest reward will be much, anyway a previous post say’s the rest of the world will get the village maker, so everyone should now be happy.

    I’m not bothered about the pre-order thing, probably get it cheaper from non-affiliated retailers anyway…

    I just want to be able to export the character I make as an image to use for stuff :/

    I have pre-ordered it and got no code. Not that adding Lolipants McGruff is a priority to the game though, I rther just have the ame than Villagers with silly names.
