    Hi Major, could you please offer an explanation as to why there have been no new games on demand for 2 weeks now and whether the ESPN service mentioned at E3 will be available in the UK?

    Why the “Download to Xbox 360″ NEVER works in Safari? The developers should test xbox.com in more browser’s than IE. Plase fix this Major!

    Cheers Kroesis, a bit annoying considering the service is available on Sky, BT & Top Up TV in the UK. Another reason why if the 12 month live price increases for the UK it may be an increase quite a few people aren’t willing to take.

    Pretty sure I read that the suit thrusters are available to those who download the free version too as long as they have maxed the agent out fully.

    I dont think we’ll see an increase for the UK 12 month sub for a while as it seems that the increase brought the price inline to what we are paying or similar to it so far.

    Oh yeh, wheres the Ruse demo at Major? Normal PSN members got it today i read, wouldn’t mind giving it a try.

    They actually updated last night, Cabela Safari and Bully…..of course, Safari doesn’t even work when you click on it. No option to buy, it’s just -there-

    So after 2 weeks of nothing we get Cabela bloody Safari that doesn’t even work, although Bully isn’t too bad but come one MS can you not choose some gems from the plethora of games out there?!

    It’s a good DLC, I was waiting for it. The new thrusters are great and the new Achievements are a real challenge, especially those that require teamwork.

    nice! i’m excited for this. it’s going to be a busy weekend with the gears of war 2 25x XP, but i’ll still pick this up. i just hope to find some time to get to it this weekend. joystiq has a video ( http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/01/crackdown-2-toy-box-dlc-trailer-gives-us-a-taste-of-whats-to/ ) of the new stuff and it looks like a ton of fun.

    I’ve just downloaded this – now I can’t launch the game. Anyone else or is it just me? Either choosing the Main Game or Keys to the City, I get as far as choosing my agent’s face and armour colour and then as the Loading screen appears, my Xbox freezes and I get a high pitched noise from the speakers.

    It works if I start with a new Agent and Campaign. I hope it’s fixed soon since I’m NOT starting again.

    Yeah, I purchased the premium pack, the xbox froza at the loading screen. Deleted it, tried the free pack. my xbox froze again. It’s warming to see i’m not the only one with this issue, but for spending $7 to not play it is pretty damn aggravating. I very much do enjoy this game, but man, I really hope Ruffian solves this quick.

    Don’t download this, it’s another screw-up. What is it about Microsoft games, DLC and achievements lately? Testing regime slipping?

    @Cronan I hear you. The Snoopy Flying Ace DLC achievements have yet to be put up on the servers. Day after release, Smart Bomb said that MS were going to sort it out in a couple of hours, that was over a week ago now! Someone is getting sloppy over there.

    For all those that are stuck with freezing games…. you can delete the dlc and then load the game and continue playing… just you wont have the dlc until they fix it.

    If you downloaded the $DLC portion of Toy Box you may run into the game hanging or the announcers voice repeating until the game hangs. Ruffian Games studo head Gaz Liddon wrote on the forums that they didn’t master the $DLC correctly and don’t have a time frame of when they’ll fix it, but they’re working as fast as they can. = LULZ Micro$uck!

    If you want to play it know what you need to do is delete the DLC. Then delete your Xbox live profile and do a gamer tag recovery. (Delete profile only!) Then download the DLC again.     If you want to play it now. Here’s what you need to do is delete the DLC. Then delete your Xbox live profile and preform a gamer tag recovery. (Delete profile only!) Then download the DLC again.     Major, the DLC is not available on the Portuguese marketplace, even though according to your post only Germany isn’t getting it. Will we miss out (again) on this content, or is this an error by the Microsoft staff, and it will be uploaded soon?

    For some reason, we never got the DLC for the first game, and even after months of emails to both Microsoft and Realtime Worlds I never received a single reply telling me why Microsoft was denying one single country (excluding Germany, were the game was banned) the option to purchase that content, for a Microsoft published game. And no, the game wasn’t banned here like in Germany, which makes it even more silly that every other country were the live service is available got it, besides us.

    I don’t understand why Microsoft keeps refusing us the option to purchase first party developed content (another example includes the Fable II Pub Games, which again Microsoft didn’t find important to “supply” us with). Add to that other missing features like the ability to purchase Indie Games (2 years later, and we still can’t buy them), and I really have to ask how do you expect your local customers to be remotely pleased with the service provided. Not that you care, we are a small market, but why is it then that I see Sony fully localizing several of their games (text and audio) and develop/adapt titles specifically to our country (music games, …), and I see Nintendo opening a local branch to better handle operations and improving significantly the services provided? On the opposite side I see Microsoft with a total lack of effort, proving us with menus and item descriptions in Italian or Spanish (as if it was the local language), and denying us access to a big pile of content, be it DLC, videos, demos, and more.

    You really have to wonder if you’re doing a good job when someone, in this case me, is asking to be able to PURCHASE your content (I don’t want to get something for free, but simply to be able to purchase DLC for my favourite games, and purchase indie titles like Yuzo Koshiro’s Mamotte Knight) and not being able to.

    DONT Download this DLC..it screws up the game, the game wont load, I have 2 xboxes, I downloaded on Thursday to my xbox 360 S and its fine, Friday I download it again (paid for it) to my elite and the game will not launch…..And no one will tell us when its fixed…refunds??????

    @Funktion JCB You are not the only country denied this content, we still don’t have it available in Norway either… I am wondering if the rest of Europe (outside of the UK) is having the same problem?

    We also don’t have Indie Games available, although we are able to create them and put them on the Indie Game marketplace, we are not able to see them on our dashboard or buy them!

    I understand Germany not getting the content if the game is banned there, but MS should make sure that all the countries that are meant to get the content actually get it!

    After all, we do pay a higher premium for our Xbox Live Gold accounts in Europe, so you would think it is the least they could do!

    I am not happy that I can not purchase the DLC for Crackdown 2 yet, I know it is a simple fix problem, so why isn’t it fixed yet???

    We had a problem previously where we did not have all of The Guild on the Norwegian dashboard, we sent a message to MS and that was resolved. Please get this one resolved too MS! And ensure it doesn’t happen again!! It is extremely frustrating that we have to spend time contacting Xbox Support and posting here to resolve an issue like this.

    Yeah I downloaded it again and it appears to be working fine now, even though the DLC achievement tile pics aren’t showing up for some reason. That’s probably something on Microsoft’s end though.

    We, well my better half Xandu, have now tweeted @AceyBongos and he has assured us that the DLC will be on our dashboard in a couple of days.

    I guess if you try tweeting him about your other dashboard issues, like the lack of The Guild, you may get a positive response too???
