  • Hedfix

Not bad. Looking forward to next week.

  • Biff Tanner

Any word on whether the Ruse demo is out today major?

  • Spiraea22

I feel like this has been DOTW ALOT..

  • AutomaticOcelot

Nice, I hadn’t nabbed Desperate Escape yet for this very reason. ;) Appreciate that Capcom is putting things on sale regularly.

  • Antarael Dulac

Nice! Got finally the Untold Stories Bundle =)

  • I DLord I

  • simon zephyr

you mean that versus mode that is already on the disc?

  • metallicorphan

isn’t there a Gold version of Resi 5?,does it have all this already?

  • chiruno99

If you haven’t got the Gold Edition of RE5, this is a good deal. However RE5 Gold is just a DLC code featuring all availible DLC and RE5 Standard. Choose your guns carefully.

  • Yukon Cornelius

If you miss out on this, you can usually find at least 1-2 “gold edition” codes on eBay. That’s what I did, and picked 1 up for only about $10. Untold + Versus for 800 fun-bucks is still a good deal if you only got the original game (which is $15-used @ GameStop), whereas the gold edition is still an outlandish $40-used there.

  • Zzdog30

  • BloodOmen360

Deal? More like trying to cash in before the re-release of the gold edition. In Europe you can get the full game + all the addons for 12.95 pounds (roughly 15.49 euros) on zavvi. This so called deal, all together, goes for about 12.84 pounds (or 15.36 euros). Deal indeed…

    @Yukon Cornelius
40$? Damn, and I though we were being robbed in Europe…

  • SilentHunter382

Where the hell are you getting €15 for the dlc, it only cost €10 for all the DLC.

It’s a good deal for people how have the disc already.

  • Wulf684

AceyBongos mentioned avatar gear being on sale as well. Can you elaborate?

  • SilentHunter382
  • metallicorphan

i saw that on AceyBongos Twitter as well, after investigating…the Untold Stories bundle pack has in-game Character outfits, and i reckon he got it mixed up with that, thinking they may of been avatar gear outfits-that’s the only thing i can think off anyway

  • SilentHunter382

There is avatar gear on sale.
    Chris outfit is now 160
    the crank is 80
    Hawaiian shirt is 80.

  • rogXue

should have made the unlock code free…. I did buy desperate escape though. good lovin in my eyes. I enjoyed both eps.

  • Crown TSA

When I checked late last night (Australian time obviously), the avatar items had been reduced. Was looking again today and they’re back up to full price! What’s going on there??

  • metallicorphan

thx SilentHunter,i wasn’t aware of those

  • daniel c w

Why do people keep on saying, that the VS-mode is an unlock-key? Is there proof for that? (Not that it matters)

Versus Mode is NOT an unlock key because it’s a 2 MB download. Some people just think it SHOULD have been included on the disc because it was released so soon after RE5’s release.

  • Dr4gOnsFuRy

    @ SilentHunter382 + BloodOmen360
    Total cost of DLC – 1280 Microsoft Points = £10.97 = €13.16 ($16.86)

But I do agree with BloodOmen360, you can pick up the Gold Edition from Zavvi for £12.95 for those that don’t already have the game. Also a few weeks ago the Gold Edition was priced at £9.98(€11.97,$15.34) brand new, for those who were lucky enough to pick up a copy got a great bargain.

  • SilentHunter382

Desperate Escape and Lost in Nightmares are included in the Untold Stories Bundle so there is no point in spending an extra 480. So it only cost 800msp = €10 = £8.38 ($12.87) for all the dlc if you own RE5.

  • DroothR

    @Crown TSA

Yeah, all of the Avatar that’s supposed to be on sale is coming up as full price for me too (on the web and on my Xbox).

I really want that Hawaiian shirt…

  • DroothR

Sorry, it’s late and I’m tired.

I meant Avatar GEAR that’s (supposedly) on sale.

  • SteamPunkJin

Also having problems getting the Avatar items to show up as discounted – any word on why it’s not happening? Even Capcom’s official blog lists it as a sale item, but when I hit the link it’s 160MSP for the shirt instead of 80MSP.

  • Sneeches

horrible DOTW…. how about some more arcade games at 50% off.

Thanks for this great DotW! I’ve been wanting this DLC since it was released but was going to wait for either this deal or a price drop on the Gold edition. And getting all the RE5 DLC for only $10 is just the kind of deal I was waiting for. SOLD!

  • theuglyteradon

So are all the “one year anniversary” items in the avatar store even on sale this week?

  • DroothR

Nope. I think it’s just a collection of high selling items. There’s no discount.

I see that there’s no longer any mention anywhere of RE5 Avatar items being on sale, so I guess they cancelled it. =P
