Want to tell us what YOU want to see for an upcoming Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week? The next time you sign into Xbox LIVE, head over to the Spotlight channel and check out the Member’s Choice Deal Of The Week Poll.* Here you can vote on what you want to see for an upcoming Deal. You can choose from Deathspank for 33% off, Perfect Dark for 50% off or discounts on select Dragon Age Origins, Trials HD or BF BC2 content. The winner of the poll will be a Deal of the Week in October.  You can only vote once per Gold Account, so choose carefully. 

*Currently the poll is only available in Canada, United Kingdom and United States

    How about making an item of older content free every week and we vote on it. It would be cool to see if stuff people aren’t downloading anymore gets play if you guys made it free.

    Why not just put them all as Deal of the Week(you know like those deals Steam throws every now and then)?

    I am giving this post 2 out of 5 stars, preemptively because the item I want to get the Deal on is not winning. And because as far as I can see there is only one good possible outcome and it doesn’t look like it is happening.

    The only thing I can vote for is Deathspank. Even thought I’m not sure I’m getting it (33$ off doesn’t sound that much attractive). All the rest.. no way.

    I hope to jesus Dethspank wins, then I’d buy it. BFBC2 stuff can die in a ditch for all I care and Trials HD has been on sale 3 – 4 times already.

    @chiruno99: I will also vote and pray for Deathspank. But I want to correct you that now not the Trials HD is planned to be on DOTW but DLC (the Big Pack). And Trials HD DLC has never been DOTW yet afaik.

    Come back after muling this over. I think it’s ok PROVIDING that all the deals come out in the order of voting popularity. If some of these deals don’t materialise you’ll have a lot of unhappy people. Currently the voting stands at each deal having around 20% of the vote so whoever wins you’ll probably make 70-75% of those who voted unhappy unless these deals come out in the order of popularity. Essentially: if a deal gets dropped there’ll be hell to pay.

    @TBizzle4Shizzle Trials has been discounted thrice already, and one of those times it was 560 MSP. You’ve had your chances.
    Stop voting for BFBC2 you predictable lot. I hate gamers sometimes…

    i am definitely happy we get some sort of input on the deal of the week. HOWEVER, when your choices vary from dlc for a full retail game, just an arcade game, and then an arcade game PLUS the dlc for it, you are going to get very mixed results. right now, it is frustrating for me because the bad company 2 dlc is winning. i don’t have that game or plan on getting it so now i am missing out on the deal of the week even though i voted for something else. how about making the polls a little more streamlined like perhaps one poll for which arcade game (with or without dlc) is going to be discounted and then a SEPARATE poll for a SEPARATE deal for the dlc for full, retail games. heck you could even have a poll for a discount on a movie or tv show from the marketplace. although i don’t know why anyone in the USA uses the zune marketplace anymore when there is netflix. just my 2 cents….

    ALL OF THE ABOVE! There’s no justification for handling out “deals” as piecemeal, particularly when there’s games & DLC that’s at least 2 years old, and would still garner considerable sales. All your publishers want to jump on board (as can be seen over on PSN), so what’s with the animosity towards your fans, and only giving them a taste of what you’re capable of doing?

    I don´t know if i should applaud or cry.
    So, only the US, UK and Canada can vote, the rest of the world will eat anything those three countries throw at them.
    The idea is great, but why does MS always feel that need to rape everyone that don´t speak english?
    Better yet, why sell the Xbox outside those countries, if you don´t give a rat´s ass about the rest?
    Why isa poll locked to certain regions, it doesn´t make any sense (like 90% of MS does nowadays).
    Pathetic….

    Interesting…I’m in Australia and the voting app was in the Spotlight section. No complaints of course, was just surprised!

    People are giving their votes for BC2 content. I can’t believe this!!! I have all the BC2 DLCs and all the achievements and can tell you that ONslaught is a crap (one time playthrough!!!!) and SPECact doesn’t give much (no new weapons or content.. money drain just for achievements).

    I knew BFBC2 dlc would win, I was just hoping SOME COOL PEOPLE would rather vote for 33% off a cool game rather than all that crappy dlc. Still, if it’s what the “Aretrded BF Community that bash Call of Duty because it’s different” wants, it’s what they’ve all come toether to achieve.
    Just gives me a new reson to hate BFfags and CODfags.
