    Heads up, I wasted $50 on this piece of trash. half the time it doesn’t recognize you and never plays well. I traded it in the next day for $20… Avoid!

    Slow unresponsive heads up. I watched a kid play this for 5 mins, then I decided i’d rather go in the kitchen and listen to three menstruating women.

    It’s pretty shoddy, a real rush job, trying to cash in on launch.

    Poor Sonic, getting the shaft again.

    (i do like dance central thou, & Adventures is decent. The tech is good, this game is not.

    @Boe2 Nope, read the post again “You’ll need Kinect to enjoy this demo”.

    @rogXue I will download the demo to try for myself but so far if true (and I see no reason so many people would lie) its a real shame they messed up the controls. It looked like it would have been a really good game if they had not messed it up.

    That said, I think all racing games using Kinect will suck, its just not what the technology is best for. It could possibly work for snowboarding/skiing and similar if done right (which seems pretty much how this game was meant to play), but nothing where you need millisecond accurate steering.

    I got the same error, and when I went into marketplace on my 360, I found the game but there’s no Download button to press, just the RATE button….

    Good thing I haven’t got Kinect, read about the mountin of bad reviews, hate Sonic games after Sonic Adventure 2, hate Kinect, read about all the requirements of Kinect, still belive pad gaming is better, prefer PS Move, gaining an addiction to Cladun and Oblivion again and don’t give a crap about this weeks DoTW present or not. Other than that I’ve no other problems.

    Yay! Wanted to try this out so badly, was planning on renting it since Fighters Uncaged got disgusting reviews, and so did this.. So I’m not expecting something amazing but I bet it’s still fun.

    If ya’ll haven’t noticed….it isn’t even available for download on marketplace. Which means no one can download it yet….duh!

    For all ya’ll complaining about the Kinect requirements i’m quite sure if ya’ll didn’t have ur room in ur parents small basement or if ur apartment was larger than a closet ya’ll would own Kinect. Don’t hate the product….hate ur living quarters…ROTFLMAO!

    @chiruno99 If you hate Kinect because you think pad gaming is “better”, you are missing the point.

    Kinect was never meant to replace the pad, it is meant to allow “some” games without a pad (games that are less fun or not possible at all with a pad) but also be used in addition to a pad on other games.

    Naturally the main push right now is to just sell the thing so developers are mostly pushing Kinect-centric games, but once enough people own Kinect they will start to look into how Kinect can enhance pad gaming, not replace it.

    I have 51 games currently on my shelf that are pad based, none of which I would want to play with Kinect. But I still own Kinect and enjoy Kinect Adventures and Dance Central which are a ton of fun.

    I am however looking forward to Kinect enhancing pad games in the future, particularly the idea of being able to simply look left and right to see the wing mirrors in in-car view in driving games. Kinect has the potential to give a far superior 3D effect than a 3DTV, if the view moves subtly according to how your head is moving it will give a true sense of looking through a window. Its the holy grail of realism for a flat 2D viewing portal (TV to you and me).

    Downloading now. Can’t wait to try it out. One of the few games I sort of wanted for Kinect but didn’t buy because of the bad reviews. I’ll get to see for myself if this is worth it or not.

    I love Kinect demos, keep them coming. I’ve bought 5 titles, but I’m not sure about some. Kinectimals demo would be nice.
