Sounds fun. Too bad Time Warner Cable won’t get their sh!t together and give us ESPN3 access on the 360 in my area even though its available online. They have some ridiculous authentication process which goes against what ESPN3 was created for and LIVE is not equipped to handle it. Sorry, just had to vent.

Am I the only one who can’t find this? I went into ESPN, nothing. Saw the widget on the dash, but there’s nothing there to pick or download.

I also couldn’t find the location of the Pick’Em mini game in the ESPN app.

You’re not the only one that couldn’t find it. I downloaded the pic, but after launching ESPN I didn’t see the mini game.

Nothing here right now either, from reading it says “update” on that link so i figure maybe we get a small update to d/l for espn. Other than that i cant find it either.

    Meanwhile in UK…

Well, for a while now, everytime you watch a game on the ESPN app you get that little poll at the bottom asking who you think will win. I’m guessing that around the 18th it will be updated to score your predictions and allow you to compare that score against those of your friends.

It’s not even on the dash anymore.

It’s definitely going to be a pick em app for each game as ESPN doesn’t have the rights to broadcast every bowl game this year. Seems the dashboard and Major Nelson jumped the gun.

I just checked and the app is available. The ESPN app will ask you to update and once it’s done updating it will be on the first screen.

anyway for us guys in the us to take part as we do have espn as part of the sky player and the games will be shown over here.

CAnt watch because i dont want to pay for espn. i know you dant have to pay for the app but to get the network you have to Pay. BULL……

I just read what the major wrote in his post. That explains why everyone was so concerned over not seeing the “mini-game” earlier today. From my understanding, some of his information is incorrect. Predicting a winner is only for entertainment value, NOT a requirement of earning the avatar items or winning the sweepstakes.

Every qualified entrant get a token for the ESPN jersey just for downloading the registration gamerpic. You don’t have to do anything else except wait approx. four weeks after the sweepstakes ends.

The second part concerning the ESPN helmet is accurate.

it really sucks that Time Warner customers, like me, can’t use the ESPN app except to see highlight or other useless stuff that I could either go to ESPN’s website or watch on TV to see.
