Tomorrow’s deal: A sequel to a legendary arcade hit

Arcade, Deal By Larry Hryb, Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson

  • Jeeper94

    Perfect! Haha

  • xTye

I’m tired of paying full price only to be given big “fuck yous” months later…that isn’t fair. We should get something if we pay full price and it goes on sale.

  • Stephan1237

@XTye, if you buy a Xbox 360 in a store and a week later it has a 50% discount, do you still complain ?

  • Cerberushunter

@xTye Sorry but I dont think that this is necessary. You and everyone here knows that the games will be DoW after some months. So if you dont want to pay the full price wait until its DoW, so easy is that ;).

If you payed full price you have the advantage to play the game instantly.

Btw. I payed full price on Undead Nightmare three days before it goes into Deal Day but thats no argument. I would say its bad luck :).

  • chiruno99

Bought this straight away, no questions asked.
    -
    @xTye Stop buying things then.

  • CAPP3SIXTY

Much better than yesterdays deal. Purchased!

  • kodoo

@xTye Just like when you buy something in a store, and then it goes on sale next week you get something, right? Oh wait.

  • metallicorphan

I bought Perfect Dark a month or two ago for the same price in another offer you guys had on

  • VIGOR MORTIVORE

Has this not been DotW already?

  • Exu

@Vigor No, it hasn’t. It was on the People’s Choice DotW vote options a few months ago but because the mass market is filled with predictable morons it went to Battlefield because these days, generic war FPS games > everything else. :D
But yeah, got this. Still, enjoy it if you haven’t. These deals remind me of the days of trading Pokémon cards. “Got, got, got, got, got, got, got…” lol.

  • VIGOR MORTIVORE

@ Exu, It’s an extremely generic market nowadays, gone are the pioneers.

  • Xlrking

I think if a few games every once in a while acted like Super Meat Boy to where it was released with a half price, then raised back to normal price, people would buy games earlier instead of waiting for a sale.

  • SumHydroponic

Great game, worth 400 points easily. BTW I picked it up on day one when it was released.

  • Mcmax3000

@Exu Or in my case, I voted for the Battlefield content because I already own DeathSpank and Perfect Dark (can’t remember what the other choice was)…

  • chiruno99

@Mcmax3000 The third was Trials HD, a sale veteran after being discounted 4-5 times. My choice was for Deathspank since I didn’t have it anyway, but the votes swayed in favour of Battlefield as the results had told us. Still one can only wait…or at least put a little more of the wages towards it and cut down on a liquid luxury. Once again you’re quite the influential one.

  • Cyrax PT

    Tomorrow Hydro Thunder…

  • I DLord I

Yup, you heard it here first. If you enjoy FPS’ and vote for related discounted content, you are a moron, not a consumer. AND if you think the deals offered are less than impressive, you are an entitled brat. Fools be throwing down logic up in this forum of truth.

  • xTye

Well, I don’t always expect something. But in the case of the Red Dead Redemption sale I feel I should get 400 MSP back because I paid FULL PRICE the NIGHT BEFORE it was on sale for 400.

  • Exu

    Ooh yeah Hydro Thunder’s a good’un.

  • Wookiestick
  • DroothR

Damn, I was hoping there’d be a discount on some PD Avatar gear to go along with the game being discounted.

    =(
