  • chintu

    hope you feeling good

  • a1984darkboy

Excited for Dragon Age II as a singleplayer game and excited for Homefront as a multiplayer game.

  • Gposh

Does he discuss the clearing of old Gamertags?

  • BeeDizz

Looking forward to YooStar2 with the kids.

  • Goodeye84

So the Xbox 1 tags that they are in the processes of freeing up. E said they are not all freed up yet.

And he gave some more info, basically if a tag is actively being used on Zune, but not Xbox live, then your going to be out of luck.

I was hoping for info on tags that haven’t used zune and have been offline for 5 years. @e I sent ya an email asking about it, I just wanted clarification on something not asking for it to be freed up or anything.

I have the same question too!

  • Grumbledock

Homefront sure seems like a solid buy, dedicated servers = no hosts and connection drops, 32 players, vehicles, no camping, Team based gameplay :)
Everything that I hoped for in Halo Reach, can come true in Homefront. Finally a game for hardcore and core gamers too, not only casuals fun…

  • Boe2

Please bring indie games to Europe.

  • bullka LT

@Boe2: are they really not available in Europe? I just tried to put Avatar Drop indie game with my UK account into download queue without any problems.

  • Boe2

The UK has a different marketplace from the mainland. We are missing a lot of features that are present in the UK.

  • Stephan1237

@bullka LT: Yes, I don’t know about France/Spain/Germany but Indie Games are not available in The Netherlands/Belgium.

  • Wulf684

And the stupidest thing is that the XNA studio is available here. You can buy a subscription, but if you release your game, no-one from your country can play it…

  • bullka LT

@Wulf684: :) The studio can be even from Mars, but Microsoft (together with other regulations) makes the rules here and Microsoft doesn’t have to make the game available in Mars :)

  • Boe2

But it can’t be THAT hard to make it available, no?

I can sort of understand why we have no last.fm or netflix: if either the owners or the copyright demons say “no”, we are shit out of luck.
However, indy games are completely in the hands of Microsoft (if you decide to submit them), I can’t imagine why we get denied access to them. A larger market for these games would benefit everyone I think.

We’ve been waiting for them for years now, but it seems Microsoft has no intention of making them available in all of Europe :/

  • Big Poppa Ryan

hmm major what is this on your gamercard? xbox 360 dashboard and xbox live labs?

  • EXL Unit

@majornelson GASP! You let Laura off of the show notes as your co-host. She’s important too :-)

  • AriesDog

Xbox 360 Dashboard is self-explanatory but I’m also curious about what is Xbox LIVE Labs, especially since there’s three achievement points for it: Mad “360” Scientist, Senior Research Analyst, and Lab Technician. Sure they’re zero point achievements but I played Quake II to get all 9 zero point achievements in that too.

  • Major Luck777

You guys on the podcast make Bulletstorm sound like a TON of fun! I tried the demo a couple weeks ago and I liked it but you guys talked about how much fun you guys had on it and now the game looks like a blast!

  • Grumbledock

    @ Boe2
We got indie games here in Sweden (Scandinavia) too, actually :)
But I agree that MS shouldn’t “forget” about EU customers, really bad behaviour! :(

  • chiruno99

I should be those Science Labs since I got a C in GCSE Science.

  • Casserole

Love the stereotypical Far Eastern accent

  • Gambit3rd

OT: Your Shape BUNDLES DLC have not been halved for the discount week… One single DLC(s) are on deal, not the bundles too. Is this regular?

  • GamerChris360

This one is broken. Libsyn having issues? I can’t download or play it, itunes or here.
