Duke Nukem Forever delayed

It’s official. Duke is delayed. Now coming June 10th (or the 14th in the US)

Randy Pitchford made the announcement today via a pretty funny video.

    lol…thats just the title…i am not wondering that the realese has been delayed cuz its duke nukem forever…forver means forever in developement…nah really..its annoying…all those release delays…i dont even believe that it will be released this summer…later they will say it will be released this winter…lol

    Haha, I had a feeling this would happen. Its actually pretty hilarious, as is Randy’s video. I’m totally OK with it, too much to play as it is already. :-)

    “Duke never comes early”… nice lol. Well it’s not like we haven’t already waited long enough for this game, so what’s a little longer, right? If the extra time makes it a better game, then I can be patient. Duke deserves the extra polish! And besides, this will just give me some extra time to work on my mountain of a backlog anyway.

    I’m just glad they aren’t switching to another game engine. At this point, you know it’s going to be a little dated and a month or 2 delay will not change that. Now if it is buggy as well, then they will be in real trouble. Better to spend a couple months making sure it is solid.

    Probably for the best. It was going to release the last week of the Gears 3 beta and a week before Brink. They picked a horrible release date considering June-Aug there’s nothing great coming out.
