Reminder: Download the Gears of War 3 beta today

If you have Bulletstorm Epic Edition, it’s now time to download the Gears of War 3 beta. It’s pretty simple. Pop the disc in and click on the Gears of War 3 MP Beta link on the menu. That will lead you straight to the download.

Don’t have a copy? Then you’ll be able to download it next week if you pre-ordered Gears of War 3 from a participating retailer.

You’ll have plenty of time to play, as the beta will run until May 15th.

It’s really simple to do, but just in case here is a video that shows you how.

    All my friends are playing the beta I feel so left out :( Im considering buying a EE bulletstorm, would that allow me to play today. Tried for the past 3 days over 15 hours each day non stop on twitter trying to get a code :(

        No it won’t, Epic Editions came with an online multiplayer code that also included the beta. Unless it’s a brand new copy you won’t get an used code.

          They have been giving away codes for a few days. A lot of them, actually. I know the BulletStorm EE started today and then the Pre-Order Beta starts on April 25th and lasts until May 15th. I may have missed something, though. They haven’t mentioned it on Twitter or anything. I could be wrong though :)

      Is that the size of the download from the BulletStorm link? I was a little confused since the “coming soon page” said to have 2GB available, but my VIP code download was only 800MB. 487 I could see, as the difference is most likely coded on the BStorm disc.

      Gears 2 never saw a PC release, so I doubt Gears 3 will.

    Just played it.If you like the other two games you should like this one, As for Me I didn’t and I don’t. They have made no new strides to make it better IMO.

    I barely got through one match on Gears 1. Gears 2 online was awesome. This is better! Not a big online player but I had Bulletstorm. Agree with Evan! Highly impressed!

      Bulletstorm wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, still I only played it for ten minutes. I would like to play the demo everyone else is playing.

    I’m confused. If I pre-order Gears of War 3 through Amazon do I still get the beta? I thought it was only a gamestop exclusive?
