A little surprised that BulletStorm didn’t make the list…I know some people didn’t like it (or thought it was more a Gears Beta platform than a retail game), but it’s a lot of fun. Sure it will score better next time (now that 50k+ are loading it up daily to get their Beta fix!)

    Go FortressCraft!

  • http://twitter.com/Quicksilver4648 Alex Woods

You know Games for Windows Live isn’t filled with amazing content when stuff like Tron Evolution makes the top 20.

    Fc ftw

Crysis 2 really that far down? Lower than COD4!

  • http://profiles.google.com/setembro Ronaldo Alves

People are still playing GTA, that’s impressive.

    • http://www.revolutionofgaming.net RoG Viper RV

      It’s still fun to play

    • http://twitter.com/TreFacTor TreFacTor

      GTA Free Roam is insane!

  • http://twitter.com/KILLERKEA23 Kealan Celik

So Halo 2 (PC) is still alive? Excellent

  • Anonymous

homefront and Crysis 2 starting to slip now

    • Anonymous

As always games have a lot of early buyers who realise teh game ain’t their cup of tea. A few weeks after release most of tehm have left and a solid ommunity is left playing that can go on for a long time (see Halo 3).
Homefront biggest competition is Battlefield 3 (team based), while Crysis 2 has to compete with HAlo, CoD, MoH and all other more casual/lone wolf/camp based FPS.

Ive always been confused. Does this mean its the week of April 11-18. or The week of April 4-11.

    • http://www.revolutionofgaming.net RoG Viper RV

I’m guessing 11-18 since it was released on the 20th. Why would he do 4-11 and skip 11-18? I could be wrong.

    • Anonymous

Almost positive it’s 11-18 because a lot of the one day sale games that were on sale April 15 are at the top of the XBLA sales list.

  • http://www.revolutionofgaming.net RoG Viper RV

FortressCraft is addicting, just building things keeps me entertained. Halo needs to make it this easy to edit/build things.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=506825497 Sunny Ciccotosto

More people playing Halo 3 than Crysis 2. That’s pretty pathetic on crytek’s part.

    • http://twitter.com/Woofy999 Dog

Do you realise how hard it is releasing a new franchise to console when all the xbox comminity is made from COD and Halo fanboys?
Crysis is an amazing game, much better than most of the games on that list including Halo…

      • http://www.revolutionofgaming.net RoG Viper RV

Everyone has their own opinion on how good a game is.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_PIXNJE4I5G27IAOWSHYAMFOYJA MikeV

lmao it is not better than Halo.

  • http://www.facebook.com/juliocm Julio C├ęsar Mendoza

    yay Perfect Dark!

  • http://www.facebook.com/josh.haas Josh Haas

What?! Black Ops is still on top????!!! Oh wait…sounds about right. *shakes fist in the air* Curse you Activision!

  • http://twitter.com/seekul Luke Es

After a month Torchlight fell pretty far pretty fast on the purchased list. A lot of those older games above it weren’t even on sale. Guess everyone that was eager got it early, or like me are still busy with it on PC/Mac.
I was glad to get Toy Soldiers on sale, that is some finely crafted software and taking down the bosses is HARD to boot.

    • Anonymous

The only ones that weren’t on sale in the Top 20 were Dishwasher, Might and Magic, Full House Poker, and Torchlight.

Thanks MajorNelson. Woudl you be able to do these updates more frequently? I remember you used to do these on a weekly basis.

    • http://profiles.google.com/matt.tanous Matt Tanous

I agree, Major. I understand if you can’t do it every week, but I would like to see them timed better with major releases (Crysis 2, Portal 2, etc.) so we can see how those fare about a week after launch.

Appreciate the Top 20 lists all the same, though.

  • http://twitter.com/mcmax3000 David

NHL 11? That came out of nowhere… I guess maybe because the Playoffs just started?

    • http://profiles.google.com/matt.tanous Matt Tanous

Out of nowhere? The last list was almost a month ago, wasn’t it? Perhaps it crept up over that time. Probably due to the Playoffs – they tend to boost interest in all sports.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Gaius-Baltar/100001706997497 Gaius Baltar

FIFA 11 is truly the dominant sports game :)

  • http://profiles.google.com/heyyou2843 Robbie S

Amazed that GTA IV is still in the Top 10. Hard to find a match in Cops n Crooks and Free Roam sometimes.

And Halo 3 in the top 15? Above some of the recently released shooters? That’s awesome.

    • http://twitter.com/TreFacTor TreFacTor

You gotta play some free roam, make some friends, and then get gangs together. Join some achievement sites there’s always someone wanting to reach that perfect gamer score.

    • http://www.revolutionofgaming.net RoG Viper RV

When you make a good multiplayer game, it’s hard to get people to stop playing it. Look what they had to do to get people to quit playing Halo 2… they pulled the plug on the Xbox LIVE service to it.. lol

wow, halo 3 is beating crysis 2 a month after release lmao

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_PIXNJE4I5G27IAOWSHYAMFOYJA MikeV

      Crysis 2 is pathetic.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_AYRDFYLEMUGR5GWHG2YUB5GN24 Rene

Glad to see Bad Company 2 still doing well after being released for over a year…that 50% off the Vietnam DLC definately helped boost its ranking.

I’ve noticed quite a few of my friends recently going back to MW2. What’s up with that?

    • http://twitter.com/AOClaus Moo

I’ve heard from a lot of people that they just don’t like the look and feel of Blops as much as MW2. What really amazes me is how many CoD games are still in the top 10, and that CoD4 is above WaW.

      • http://www.revolutionofgaming.net RoG Viper RV

WaW is above Homefront, that’s funny.

    • Anonymous

I think Black Ops has too much flinching in that when you know you got an enemy in your sights, and u shoot them, they’re still able to kill you, even if you hit first. In MW2, it just feels right. You know when you got the kill.

In BLOPs, it feels like it takes more damage to kill someone.

To me, BLOPs has a very wierd feeling that it took me about a month or two to unlearn MW2.

Halo will remain a game many many people grew up with, unlike crysis id doesn’t require a $3K pc to run. Also Halo is significantly more polished and well built game then crysis and COD (I love COD don’t get me wrong but thats just the truth)
