Xbox 360 Limited Edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Console, Wireless Headset with Bluetooth and Wireless Controller

Today at the Call Of Duty XP event in Los Angeles, we announced the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Console and two limited edition Modern Warfare 3 themed accessories. Here are the details:

This limited edition console includes a customized console with graphics from the game, along with two custom wireless controllers, a 320GB hard drive, a copy of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,” as well as custom sounds when the console is turned on. Here are the .WAV files of what they what they sound like: power on/off and disk tray eject.
A one month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription to Xbox LIVE is included, as well as exclusive avatar items that show your Xbox LIVE friends you’re one of the lucky ones to own this coveted console.

The console will launch on November 8, 2011 in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and EMEA for $399 (U.S. ERP), and you can pre-order today at participating retailers.

In addition to the console, Xbox 360 will be releasing two limited edition accessories, both shipping to stores October 11:

Will the controller and headset actually be available in other parts of the world, other than America? I wanted the Reach controller badly, never saw it in Belgium. I want(ed) the GOW3 controller, isn’t available in Belgium. So I hope that the tie-in controller for a international blockbuster-record-breaking game will be available here.

For $400+ give us the damn headset, or the Kinect sensor, something, jesus… I wish they didn’t even include the game in these packages, who the hell wants the ‘Limited Edition’ console with the standard game included? Better yet, toss in the limited edition game instead of the standard. Might make it worth $500 after tax.

  First of all, if someone says MW sucks, it just means they suck at it. Second of all, this bundle is a good deal. You get a 70 GB expansion, extra controller, a copy of the game, and all of the custom graphics for only $100 extra. Go play Battlefield.

    I think MW is a bad game and I go upwards of 30-4 on a good day. Assuming someone sucks at a game for their opinion makes you look dumb. I think the console looks pretty sick, I’m just not interested in COD anymore due to the “one man army” aspect.
    
    Also: I will go play Battlefield, at least that provides a daily challenge for me.
